One of the worst experiences with a family. Waited over an hour for the food to arrive. Food tasted bad and here is a list of what we ordered (so it wasn’t just one item on the menu): - oysters - overcooked and tasted awful - steaks - various cuts all were heavy on the salt - sweet mashed potatoes - practically sugar and cinnamon? - red fish - seasoned To make matters worse, we all left smelling like fried chicken and hungry. Update: We went back. Went again on Monday night for the steak special. We also ordered the tamales for appetizer. I think $12 for 3 tamales is a bit much. They tasted ok. Once again, the steaks were ok. Total was $90 before tip. We won't be back. It's just not worth it to us. I got the new york strip and roasted potatoes. The steak was good and potatoes were ok. We went on Monday night for the $30 steak special. It's not a place I would ask to go to but I wouldn't refuse to go if someone else wanted to go. Nothing out of the ordinary. We went for my mother in laws birthday. We showed up right at 5 pm, so that it would not be busy. The food is pricey, 27$-58$ however, it was worth every penny. I had a medium rare steak that was cooked to perfection. My mixed drink had heavy pour, and our waitress was super nice.
