This gyro was life-changing. I found myself in the vicinity after a disappointing day of trying to patch a tire which led me across West LA to a tire shop down the street. I was hangry and disillusioned with the state of my day, which quickly went to waste quickly in the midst of my complications. This gyro sandwich is the redeeming factor of the past four hours of my existence. When I entered, I was confused by the lack of prices, menus, and... people. There was an older woman who met me with a warm smile and welcomed me in as if I were her own grandson. She quickly took my order, which left me gobsmacked when I saw that this, unbeforeseen-at-that-moment mystery gyro, would only cost a mere 11 dollars, including tax and a 20% tip. The woman quickly got to work and I witnessed her prepare my gyro with care and intention, shaving it carefully off the spit and garnishing it with a superb amount of toppings and delectable sauce. The gyro was fresh, tender, and satisfied my hangriness and impatience with ease. This is the definition of comfort food. The gyro was served on a random cutesy plate which completed the developing hole-in-the-wall restaurant discovery saga for me. I inhaled the sandwich so quickly it must have startled the woman. On the way out I thanked her for my meal, dropped my dishes off, and she told me: "have a wonderful night, until next time ." This spot epitomizes small business America in a way which no Greek chain (looking at you Daphne's and Luna Grill) will ever emulate. Bravo and I will be back soon. Not the real deal the rice tastes like it's Mexican made and the shawarma doesn't have that nice taste that u want my favorite shawarma is hyats kitchen in Burbank once u taste that shawarma ull understand what I'm talking about

First time coming here on a whim. Felt like some good Mediterranean food and Hell yeah, it’s so good. We ordered the beef & lamb shawarma and kafta kabobs. Came with really good rice, fresh pitas, banana pepper, and 2 sauces. Oh and they have a grade A and are very kind people. If you’re looking for some good freshly cooked food, it’s here. OMG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Driven by King's Kabob hundreds of times and never thought of stopping. Went there today and enjoyed one of the tastiest sandwhiches I ever had. Their Gyro sandwhich, at only $8.99, is pure heaven. The sandwich is a mixture of lamb and beef and includes sauce, lettuce and tomatoes.. The meat was very tender and perfectly seasoned. I love to cook and know good food when I taste it. Give your mouth a treat and try the King Kabob Gyro sandwhich. There are also many other great dishes on the menu. Sandwhich was so darn delicious I was thinking of eating a second one. BTW the owners are awesome people and fun to talk to. Keep up the good work Mo !! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
