Food wasn’t very good. The rolls didn’t have much flavor, the eel tasted dry and off… I wouldn’t recommend eating here, there’s a lot better places to eat for the same price if not cheaper if you’re looking for sushi. Sushi made me feel heavy and a little nauseated. The wait staff was nice and the atmosphere was okay - we got stuck at the tinest table. My wife and I went for lunch. The staff were all very nice and made the meal more enjoyable. The food was flavorful and tasted really good. I would say the lobster tail might have been overcooked, but everything else was good. On Dec 18, 2023 I hosted a Christmas dinner for my entire staff. Prior to going into the restaurant I registered two $100 VISA gift cards that I intended to use towards the $300 dinner. The server explained that I could only use 80% of each gift card ($80 ea) and the remaining $40 would still be on the cards for future use. I found this to be very strange & dug for more details. She continued to assure me that this was their policy. I drove 15 minutes home thinking the entire drive that this just didn’t make any sense. When I got home I immediately went online to verify the balance on the cards expecting to see that there was $20 on each card. Instead I found there to be $0 on each card. Within a matter of 45 minutes the $40 disappeared. Obviously someone in that restaurant somehow took the remaining $40 from those cards. VISA verified that there were NO funds remaining on those cards. If nothing is done to refund those funds to me I will post the servers name. Please beware of using gift cards in this restaurant!! It’s only $40 but it’s the point that your money is stolen right in front of your eyes!! Unbelievable! What will they do when you are using your bank account debit card with unlimited funds available to them?

Kabuki is one of my favorites and it doesn’t help that it’s just around the corner from us lol! Whether it’s a birthday celebration, dinner with friends or happy hour, they can aciomodate. The place is kinda small though and it gets really packed especially in the front hostess area so if you’re waiting to be seated during their busy times, you will be in everybody’s way. My go tos are the grilled calamari- the sauce it comes in is super delicious and the calamari is always grilled to perfection, hibachi dinner kabuki specials are great but sometimes they overlook the meat and shrimp and don’t forget the lychee martini! Very tasty -super fresh; I’ve been hearing about this place so gave it a try & it did not disappoint. We had multiple specialty rolls & wine and loved all and very reasonable. Will be back for sure! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Loved the food and service, we ordered the gyoza and crab puffs for appetizers, ate too quick until we realized the camera needed to eat first! For the main dishes we had the shaggy dog roll and nabe yaki udon! Everything was delicious and despite the workload Kabuki was experiencing, got us our food in a timely manner. Birthday celebration at the Hibachi table for the first time. We had a wonderful female server. Food was delicious and the hibachi entertainment was great! Only downer, I made reservations for 6:30pm. Everyone had to be there before we could be seated. 15 of us arrived early for the surprise but our table was not ready until 7:00pm. We had to stand in the entrance area and servers had to walk through with food. Customers had to maneuver through us as well. Being in everyone’s way was not fun. Great local sushi restaurant. Inexpensive and tasty sushi. Ample parking and easy to access from freeway feeder. Service is friendly and prompt. For food I recommend the sashimi. Third time here. First two times were great. This third time not so much. Can’t give it a 3 or 4 star because the first two times were great. This time just seemed like the cook did not go thru his whole “show” and food was over cooked. Hopefully next time will be as my first two visits. They have great lunch specials.
