The pavilion is named after Joe Mann, an American soldier who sacrificed his life to save his comrades during the liberation of the Netherlands in World War 2. Great service, good food! It was just a bit busy, which led to slightly slower service, but not too slow for me. Very 'gezellig', for sure after going out into the woods

A favourite place of our family, we go there every weekend together with our dog. Super pet and customer friendly, delicious, great prices and beautiful location in the forest. Highly recommend ice coffee, smoothies and my favourite Hawaii toast with pineapple 🤤

woods area all around for walking, biking, activities. must try place once and if you like can repeat every season.
Nice place in the forest. Ideally as starting point for walking your dog, hiking, mountain biking and running. On return sit inside or on the big terrace to get a drink with a bite or enjoy a lunch.
Food is good and there are plenty of choices out of a list with salads or bread, lots of choices in drinks. Lot of people with dogs.
Joe Eugene Mann - the great man this place is named after has to be the inspiration for Captain America. He sacrificed his life so that others may live, here in Best, 18-september 1944.
There is a big sitting area outside. It's quite pleasant on warm days. Dogs are allowed while leashed. They have water bowls ready for dogs too.
They serve really good pies. Try the "oma" gebak. It's rhubarb pie. Every bite tastes like Christmas day.
If you sit outside, you'll regularly see and hear airplanes taking off from Eindhoven airport.
The staff are very friendly and helpful!
Please take the time to visit after a walk in Joe Mann's forest.
Very busy on Sundays and public holidays when the weather is good. Nice walks to be made in the forest. Ideal location for a drink after a nice hike or mountain bike track.
