This place is awesome and a neighborhood gem. The staff is friendly and the food is so tasty and at a good price. I was there for lunch and of course ended up with a sampling of baklava and Turkish tea to top it off. Delicious! First time trying a Turkish coffee and this was the place to try it. We had such a friendly cashier who provided information on everything on the menu. We tried a few food items that were really really great. I cannot name them now, but they were amazing. Very inhospitable. Came in at 6:05 and was immediately told they close at 7 (which I was aware) Only ordered Kunefe and premade baklava so I knew we would be out before then. The young blonde who took our order after very anxious trying to get us to order faster. I asked for my baklava to be heated a little and the young blonde immediately complains to the older woman as I’m standing there. As we checked out at 6:36 the young woman again mentions how it’s so late and she feels so bad because it’s Saturday and the older woman deserves to go home.
