Visiting state college and decided to eat at IHOP. Never again, food was cold, coffee was cold. My son's eggs weren't cooked. Only 1 waitress and she was interviewing someone and never came back to our table. A cook came and gave us our receipt. We stood at the register for 15 minutes waiting for someone to ring us out. This place was dirty, food all over the floor our table was dirty. I advise anyone to pass right on by and not waste your time here. I did feel sorry for the waitress she was very nice and trying very hard to run the place herself. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

The food was good. It was cold in the building. They only had one waitress around 11am today and we waited for over a hour between getting our order taking and our food to come out. The waitress that was on was trying her best to keep up and she had knee surgery recently and wasn't even suppose to be back to work yet. They used molds for the poached eggs and over cooked the eggs. Hollandaise sauce was thin and made from powder. Hash browns were overcooked and cold! How do you manage that?! Friends got overcooked food as well and flat pancakes. Management refused to speak to our table. We were the only table here! Not only do they need a new cook but new management. After waiting for 75 minutes after our order was put in, and being told it would take 20 more minutes, I left. Yes, we were a large party, yes it was a Sunday, and yes they are short staffed - but if you can’t get food to customers within 90 minutes of ordering, then don’t take the customers. The servers are doing their best but there are serious structural problems here that clearly aren’t being addressed. Go to better local breakfast restaurants - Waffle Shop, Naked Egg, Corner Room, etc.

‘Nough said. Come here if you like pink chicken, undercooked eggs, lipstick on your coffee mug, terrible service, and a terrible manager! This place needs a whole revamp and it starts with firing the manager. I’m not the type to post negative reviews…but just go to the Waffle Shop on either N or S Atherton.
