Our service was great. They were down a server and cook, but it was still fast friendly service. Short wait, delicious food, I will be going back and when my friends and family come to visit, (yes I'm a local) I will bring them there.

Found absolute disappointment today with my breakfast.
This once delicious establishment has well,
best description would be, has no love left in the food they prepare.
The meal, if you can call in that, as i was not able to finish, nor did it satisfy. Was the California Benedict with hashbrowns.
My browns were not brown, Undercooked potatoes still chewy as though they barely hit the grille, still served. An embarrassment truly.
The so called hollandaise sauce was soured but bland. And did not pair well with anything on the plate. As every restaurant has there own take on sauce I would forgive this, though I would recommend trying some others nearby before continuing the serving of it to your paying consumers.
I do hope "you" can do better in the future. This has always been a enjoyed spot for my family, and I am back again in the area. I will not be tempted back anytime soon but will not attempt for a 3rd assume the same result on the next one.

Food was pretty good. Price was good. The service was very slow. It wasn't very busy. For a Thursday afternoon. It took about 20 minutes to get out drink order in. My husband finally had to wave someone over. Then it took another 15 minutes to get someone to take our order. The food only took about 15 minutes to come to our table. Then they forgot my Daughter's toast. She always eats her eggs with her toast so we waited about 10 minutes. No one came. So I went to the front desk and asked. They said they were sorry. They burnt the toast and had to remake it and it would be right out. It took about 15 minutes... For toast?! By then her eggs were cold and she didn't eat them. Because it has been easy 25 minutes.
A month prior we visited this location and waited about 25 minutes for someone to come take our drink order and we waved someone down and they said they would be right with us... Another 10 minutes passed and no one came so we ended up leaving.
We decided to give it another try. Unfortunately we won't be back. I'm not sure if the management changes but we used to visit Huckleberries a lot years ago and the service was always spectacular! We will have to find a new restaurant to visit when in Pismo Unfortunately.

Went for breakfast, was greeted right away and seated. Friendly staff and was able to split a meal with no hassles. Had a chicken and waffle plate with scrambled eggs. Chicken was hot however bland. I also order a side andoulie sausage which was a bit cold.
Overall great experience with waitress, very friendly and knowledgeable...Enjoy Tony
