Very nice authentic place to eat some pancakes. They have a small indoor playground with television for the kids. It's in a old WW2 bunker and even have a little museum near the toilets you can visit free of charge.
My mother in law wanted to take us out for a pannenkoek for a change. Saturday evening at the Pannenkoekefort, full of family's with young children, enjoying the 'Peter Pan' experience. We, on the other hand, we're not quite so happy!
Drinks arrived fairly quickly, the meals for the five of us took almost an hour! My brother in laws salami pancake had no salami. My wife pancake was cold, and my pancake was a disaster! I asked for a Salon pancake which included, kibab meat, salad and chip along with a garlic and an onion sauce. What I didn't expect was to have every thing in one pancake! Chips and salad plus cheese on top then heated! To top it all almost no kibab meat. It was unedable. The whole thing was a disaster. Added to that two supposed sauses. One, a garlic mayo and secondly an onion sauce, which was not a sauce but an onion salad.
The whole experience was nightmare never to be tried again. What's more we had to PAY!!
Suffice to say my worst evening out, ever.
Beer was quite good though!
