I really wanted to like this restaurant. However, the experience from beginning to end was disappointing. My son and I were sat outside, as requested, but the tables and chairs were incredibly uncomfortable; iron grated chairs and tables with no cushion. Then we waited nearly an hour for a hamburger and chicken Caesar wrap. I'm all for waiting for fresh food, but an HOUR for a wrap and a burger is a bit much. They brought my son's side of macaroni first, which was actually quite delicious, but the only high point of the experience, and it was bright about half an hour before the rest of the meal. The chicken Caesar wrap was grilled - as in the wrap was filled, then placed in a pan to crisp the outside of the wrap. I understand that for most wraps, but hot salad dressing is disgusting. I'm OK with warm chicken in the wrap, but warm/hot lettuce and salad dressing - awful. I likely would not return, and that's unfortunate because many reviews were favorable, but I just don't want to risk another poor experience for sub-par service and food. My friend and I ate here yesterday. I had the blackened grouper and it was outstanding. She had the Rueben and she loved it. Our waitress was so sweet and didn’t mind that we stayed at the table and talked a while. We sat out on the beautiful patio. Next time I’m getting the chicken Benedict! Well first time here….no, we’re not vacationing nor are we new to the area but yes new somewhat. We recently purchased a vacation home on the water and we will definitely be visiting you guys again. The outdoor seating area was very quaint, the beer was cold and the food we all ordered was delicious and fresh. Our server was very accommodating and friendly. We are originally from the Land O Lakes area, one born and one raised in Florida. We’ve frequented the area years ago after a day of boating we’d then eat somewhere on Main Street. We are thrilled to be “new” to the area and look forward to trying more yummy sounding menu items. See y’all again soon! My goto for Shrimp & Grits. Patio is pet friendly along with a very well mannered resident cat who stops by to say hello to guests. Food is delicious w/generous portions. Wait staff is efficient, professional, and super friendly. Love this place.
