Tonight was our first visit, we will be back.
The hostess was a little cold, she didn't go out of her way to be welcoming, maybe she just had a long day.
Our waitress was friendly and helpful. The food was good and was served fairly quickly.
The prices were a little on the high side but the quality was good.

Food was really good, better than we expected. Got the brisket sandwich with caramelized onions and sweet potato fries. It did not disappoint. I came in hungry, but I left full.

Interesting location—right off I76 Morgantown exit, but this place is a lot nicer than your usual highway exit restaurants. I love their menu choices and the staff are incredibly friendly.
I had pot roast—it’s very delicious and I feel it’s nutrition-balanced when paired with seasonal vegetables (which are green beans today). Will definitely come back if I’m in the area.

Pot Roast
We stopped at the Heritage House today while traveling along the PA turnpike. The food was delicious and the servings were huge! Everything was freshly made. My son and I have to eat gluten-free but we can eat sourdough. I had the burger with homemade old bay fries. My son had the grilled cheese. His gf had a turkey club with sweet potato fries. My husband had the roast beef sandwich. We all loved the fries! The server, who also seated us, was very friendly, courteous, and made great suggestions. The restaurant and the restrooms were very clean. We will definitely stop again!

So rating the food as a Chef would be more like 3 to 4 stars, however as a concumer and all around eating i gave it a 5.
The menu is very creative and item here are very unique, and this is the reason for the 5 Stars. I had jalapeno egg rolls, very nice presentation, great flavour and very nicely filled, however the filling was very cheesy and creamy, very tasteful, however I expected a little bit more heat, only couple pieces of Jalopenos in them and could not taste them. Next Roastbeef Sandwich au jus...well as a Chef, when I use prime rib, I would slice tge Roastbeef thin, medium rare to rare, and serve with au jus and scauce on the side as well. The taste was great, but since the cheese was melted on top the Roastbeef was very well done and had the Sandwich felt "dry", but great in taste. Overall the staff is very friendly out of the 3 TVs over the bar, 2 played sports and the middle TV played a slideshow about the Restaurant. Very nicely put together, just 1 slide stilled showed the Motherday special, while outdated, it was nice to know, that there are holiday specials. Very nice place, if you are around, you defininitly should visit, as I stated before the food is very tasty and it is not your typical bar menu. It is a very nice and creative menu and we will be back.

Driving along the Pennsylvania Turnpike we saw a sign for Heritage Restaurant. We did a quick Google search, it looked good, do we spontaneously gavebit a shot. We sat at the bar. We noticed how clean the bar area was. Service was prompt and cheerful. Beer was cold and the food was very good. Each dish appeared to be prepared with pride; not just bar food, deep fried, thrown on a plate and dropped in front of you. We were very happy with our spontaneous stop at Heritage Restaurant.

The staff were very friendly and food was very delicious! We did wait a while for our food and for the server to come to us to bring our checks. But aside from the waiting our experience was pleasant. The photo is of my bison sausage with fries.
The employees are always very nice and helpful. My food is always made exactly as I ask them to make it, and always very good. The prices are not that unreasonable either. If you happen to be in the Morgantown Area and looking for somewhere to have breakfast, lunch, or dinner; give it a try.
Very nice place to enjoy a quick meal, and located right off of the turnpike. The food was fresh, fast, and reasonably priced. The staff was excellent. I'm a down south country guy, so I'm really into locations like these. It may throw some visitors off from the outside appearance, but was very impressed with the clean rustic and relaxing look inside. The decor and environment was off the charts, and if I lived in the area I would definitely make it my morning stop. Be sure I will make this a must go to place when I pass through. Thank you Heritage for a excellent and memorable breakfast with my family.
