We really enjoyed our breakfast this morning! Freshest and best tasting meal we’ve had in awhile!! Definitely worth your time if in the area.

This is our favorite brunch spot, they have a very friendly waitstaff. The coconut lattes are simply amazing, this place is a gem and I highly recommend it to anyone that wants brunch with a bit of Cuban influence.

I would be surprised to learn that this café is turning a profit with just six hours of operations daily. They aren't open yet when I get to the METRO station right outside their storefront, and then closed when I return there from work. That's not even one full shift. And they're closed on Monday? Are they deliberately trying to avoid the waves of pedestrian customer prospects swarming the area outside? People who want a morning coffee on the way downtown and to pick up dinner when they get back?
I don't know who they are but, to the owner, if you're reading this: I wish you good fortune and success at this endeavor. I think you should work harder at it.
Open at 6:30am. Stand at the morning bus lineup and hand out 30 free coffee vouchers every day for a full week. If it doesn't generate interest after a month has passed, try staying open later instead and hand out 150 meal vouchers. Find a way to bring the commuters to market. You're paying for premium real estate next to a freeway, a bus hub and an upscale apartment complex, after all. Capitalize on that.

Just ate here for the first time. Tried the quiche, platanitos, and an egg plate. Food was good and came out quick. The restaurant was very clean and good looking. I will come back.

Walked in and almost immediately a server approached us and handed us menus, we found a place to sit near the window then changed our minds and sat outside. The server also wasn't over bearing but she knew when we needed to be checked on and was very good at reading our body language to know when we needed to be approached. The food was absolutely amazing and I DEVOURED it so fast it was delicious, and for the price I wasn't expecting anything fancy. I was proven wrong lol. the atmosphere was so cozy, a little chilly though so we sat outside because the weather wasn't too bad yet. The rating is only 4.2 but it NEEDS to be higher. it's such a nice and relaxed environment, definitely a hidden gem of Houston. I'm definitely super glad we stumbled upon this. We're not health nuts but even though all the food seemed more on the healthy side, none of it lacked in taste and all of it was super filling.

Simplicity
This was our first time visiting! We loved the food! We must have caught a busy time, the place was packed, and we ended up having a 1.5 hour dining experience because of the wait, but the staff was honest and aware of the lengthy times. Will try again!
