Half Moon Restaurant & Brewery in Kokomo is a great place to eat and enjoy a few drinks. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with rustic roadhouse vibes. The staff are friendly and attentive, making sure that you have everything you need for an enjoyable experience. The menu has a wide variety of options, from appetizers to burgers to entrees. The beer selection is also impressive, with their own craft beers, especially the Kokomonster ale. The food is delicious, with favorites such as the Buffalo chicken sandwich, fried cheese balls, and brisket sandwich. The signature sweet and Carolina mustard sauces are amazing, and the yeast rolls and cinnamon butter are a must-try. The corn soufflé is a great side dish, and their Top Shelf Long Island Ice Teas are a great way to end the meal. Prices are very reasonable, and the portions are generous. All in all, Half Moon Restaurant & Brewery is a great spot for a casual meal or night out with friends in Kokomo.

We had a table of “18”, in the Front Room. India was our waiter. India did an excellent job. She knew where each dinner went, refilled drinks, kept the checks straight. Food was serviced warm an as ordered. Front room is a quieter room for large group. Really nice evening.
Saturday 2-24-24, 10pm. Called the restaurant because the online ordering wasn’t working and the girl I talked to said I couldn’t order over the phone, and that I had to come into the bar to order. Bartender girl took my order and didn’t write anything down, came back to me 3 times to ask my order again. Ordered my son’s catfish lightly blackened and he couldn’t eat it from all the seasoning even after I scraped it off. I ordered my cheeseburger medium and threw it away because it wasn’t even cooked. Threw away 2 entrees, and the worst part of it all was I tipped $6 to a bartender who did nothing but screw me over. Never again
We paid $35 for my husband's dinner he ordered it medium rare, it was straight purple in the middle...it was cold, we love going there on date night an this was the worst trip there, it's allways been great tell tonight, if you have a new chief he needs to learn how to make steaks please. I don't want to find another place for date night.

Well. If it sounds to good to be true it probably is. Menu was enticing and the place had decent enough beer, though they’re one of those places that thinks warm is good. Or I got warm beer and a cold baked potato. The side salad was your standard out of the bag lettuce. My server, LaLa, was super friendly and accommodating until the second baked potato sucked as bad as the first one. She disappeared and I got some woman who didn’t bother to tell me who she was, just that $2.50 was the price of the potato, so that’s what they took off the bill. Seriously. Someplace like Texas Roadhouse would do better. And I do not like Texas Roadhouse. They had a decent crowd, especially for a Monday, so they’re clearly money grubbers. The icing on the proverbial cake was when nameless woman says, “I hope the rest of your day gets better.” Are. You. Serious. You serve me a half baked — pun intended — dinner and now you got jokes? Whatever. If you go, temper your expectations. That’s all.
Half Moon is a wonderful dinner experience. Servers are friendly & courteous. Our food was delicious. Our drinks were wonderful & the beer selection was fantastic. They are a bit more expensive than other casual places, but their food, service, & drinks are worth the extra coin. The food was absolutely terrible! My sweet potato was not done and cold, the brisket was fatty, lacked flavor and it was also cold. The best part of the meal were the rolls. I definitely will not be coming back! Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Food was good but I had to eat a foot away from the table because they squeezed us a party of 11 into a table met for no more then 10. The chair were literally touching and I had to watch the next person next to me to make sure their elbow wasn't in my food. Yes I asked to be moved since I called ahead and arranged this but was told their was no room available. Very mad will not go back. There were several better options to place us.
