Come to this place and taste Cantonese and Chinese cuisines. Order nicely cooked bao, shrimp rolls and fried prawns. Do not go away without degusting good fruitcake, mango pudding and Egg tarts. In accordance with the guests' opinions, waiters serve good bitter. Take your chance to taste delicious tea. The warm atmosphere of this restaurant makes guests feel relaxed and have a good time. The success of HL Peninsula Restaurant wouldn't be possible without the energetic staff. Many visitors note that prices are attractive for what you receive. Based on the reviewers' opinions, the decor looks terrific. But google users rated this place and it didn't earn a high rating.

Great dim sum restaurant! Its brand is famous around the Bay Area. The durian roll is a little small compared to those from other restaurants though. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This location is better than the one near San Mateo and more parking spaces. The dim sum is pretty authentic and unique where you wouldn't see them at other places. They have the basic dim sum down but you should definitely try something that are less traditional here. Expect long wait but service is good and the restaurant is clean. October 2023: Celebrated two birthdays here and had two large tables. First time here for me. My family has tried this place before and recommended it. We ordered a set menu and started with appetizers, soup, a pork mushroom dish, bok choy with mushrooms and abalone, chicken with ginger and green onions, whole steamed fish, lobster, and fried rice 🍚. Every dish was very tasty. I would come back again for more excellent Chinese food. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I guess this is as good as it gets in San Francisco. No prior bookings so waited about 30mins for a table on a Sunday. Which is considered fast. A very big and popular Chinese restaurant that can sit up 4xx paxs. Most of the staff spoke Cantonese and they were fast and attentive. Dim Sum is our family’s favourite. The dishes that we like from this restaurant is the tangerine salty egg yolk lava boa, sauteed turnip cake in XO sauce and the shrimp rice noodle rolls. Mango pomelo sago dessert was good but could be better if more mangoes were blended into the soup. Golden egg fried rice and har kow/ prawn dumplings were a bit bland, supreme soy low mein w/shallot noodle texture were a bit chewy. Pork to fu skin was mediocre. Pork and crab roe dumplings were huge but the pork smell too strong for my liking. Chrysanthemum tea had chlorine smell so got the staff to change the water but the smell was still there. She offered to change to plain boiled water but we declined. Chinese broccoli were blanched and served with a dipping of oyster sauce. Perhaps stir frying them with some fresh garlic and oyster sauce will make the dish taste better. Might go again to try the other dishes when we are visiting San Francisco.
