DON'T EAT HERE! GAVE ME SOMEONE ELSE'S LEFTOVER FOOD CONSISTENTLY. I've been here about 4 times because I doubted myself. The first time the food was excellent. Then the second time and afterward they started giving me what looked and definitely was leftover food from someone else's plate about 3 different times. Not sure if I'm just imagining them having something against me (I'm a White female) but my 2 guy friends' food was fresh and delicious every time but mine was definitely nasty. I gave them the benefit of the doubt.. The second visit was a considerably smaller portion on a small plate with reheated leftover pieces of chicken with limp yellow lettuce that looked partly chewed. The third time I went with something different: carne asada tacos. The meat was hard and almost burnt, the tortillas were hard and looked reheated, the rice was soggy and broken, and the beans were oily and mushy. This last time (just to test it out) there was reheated hard sliced chicken again with some green pieces of lettuce and brown lettuce on the bottom but mixed in. I ate a little of the good pieces because I was "imagining things" and vomited a while later. DEFINITELY CONFIRMED THEY MESS WITH YOUR FOOD. Listen to yourself if it doesn't feel right. Gordon's Café was a pleasant experience. To me it was the epitome of your neighborhood spot. I felt like it was an easy place to end up at 4 times a week, and this was my first time there. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and fries and it was everything a good burger should be. Definitely going back to try something else on their menu.
