We had the best breakfast of the Black sea coast here. The real village food was delicious, the service attentioned, and the old wooden house next to the river is just beautiful.

I had the pleasure of visiting Golbasi Tahta Kahve during my recent trip to Turkey, and it was an incredible experience! As a Dubai resident with a taste for good quality food and being a British Turk with a strong connection to the village where this restaurant is located, I can say this place truly stands out.
The Turkish breakfast they serve is simply outstanding. The muhlama, the stringy melted Turkish cheese from the Black Sea region, was a delight, and the eggs were cooked to perfection. I loved the wide selection of authentic honey and jams, all sourced locally, which added a touch of sweetness to the meal.
Moreover, the cornflour bread, a traditional gem, had a fantastic taste and texture. The ambiance of the restaurant, coupled with its genuine Turkish hospitality, made the experience even more memorable.
The only thing to keep in mind is that the closest hotel is in Findikli at Ramada hotel, so getting to the restaurant may require a rental car or a taxi. However, I assure you the journey is well worth it.
Overall, if you want to indulge in an authentic Turkish breakfast experience with top-notch quality food, Golbasi Tahta Kahve is the place to be. I highly recommend it to locals and tourists alike! Make sure you call to reserve your spot.
