I was traveling with a coworker the other day and we stopped in at Glen’s for lunch. It was 12 noon and the place was packed which to me, is a sign of a great place to eat. We opted to sit at the counter so we wouldn’t have to wait for a table due to our limited time to stop. Chrissy (Hope I spelled it right, forgive me if I didn’t) waited on us and despite the hustle of the lunch rush was very friendly, courteous and right on point with her suggestion of the meatloaf special. The atmosphere at Glen’s has a hometown, nostalgic feel with lots of memorabilia to look at while you wait for your food. The chalkboard and sign above the refrigerated case behind the counter really nails the feeling of this new found foodie gem in my opinion. Prices are average, food was excellent for my first time there but have no reason to believe it wouldn’t be on my next visit and there will be plenty more visits in the future. Food is the BEST! Just had breakfast with my son and husband. My son ordered a double order of French toast and absolutely loved it. I had a very generous order of pancakes. I ate one took the other 3 home to enjoy tomorrow. My husband had the eggs and bacon which he loves! We have been loyal customers for many many years. Our favorite place for breakfast and lunch. Our server was kind, attentive & very personable which just made our day. Of course we will go back again & again. The owner and his wife are have a terrific establishment and it shows by how many customers they always have. 👏👏👏☺️
