The food was amazing, but the great service is the reason I will keep coming back to eat and shop here. The guys who work until closing are so welcoming and easy to talk to. Happy to help customers even right at closing time. They both had reccomended the same favorite sandwich, so I came back with a friend to try it the next day. And they even remembered me. Had an order of seafood chowder and minestrone soup, they were delicious and you could tell it was made fresh with fresh and not frozen veggies. Staff was friendly, helpful and very professional. Definitely going back.

Visited a few times in the past and is always a go to for lunch! Ordered the meatball sub and was taken away by the size! Didn’t think I’d bring eating a sub the size of a new born! Great flavors and had leftovers for dinner!

The staff is very friendly and eager to answer questions. All the sauces, pasta, sausages, and pizza dough are all made in-house. The pre-made take and bake dishes are authentic and full of flavor.

Italian Sandwich
This was the best place to eat, by far, of the several restaurants we tried during our five day trip to Cannon Beach and surrounding areas. Thank goodness my daughter suggested sandwiches for lunch! I got the Italian, my girls got Italian clubs, and pasta salad. I'm so used to a sandwich kicking me in the mouth with pepperoncinis and whatnot. It took a second to process what I was eating: Really exceptional food. I wasn't used to it. Two things I wish I'd have done differently: Known about this place earlier, and stayed somewhere within walking distance. I could easily eat here daily. It is a treasure, an absolute treasure. Real, simple, good food that trusts the audience, so to speak. What a concept! Bravo.
Capturing another fun market with delicious and custom created sandwiches and other divine dishes. We custom ordered and shared a pesto-pork sandwich on a foot long ciabatta bun while hearing a fascinating story about eating out in Italy (there are “food police” who ask for receipts to make sure it’s all “kosher” for tax purposes). Wonderful employees (owners?) who were happy to create whatever we wanted; a sweet, quaint atmosphere and delicious food with fun, unique foods and other purchasable products such as gourmet chocolates, kitchen gadgets and ready-made foods like pasta salad, egg salad and clean salamis (no nitrates). Definitely worth going to!
Update August 2022:
Love the store and love the sandwiches but don't like how it's getting more expensive. It's starting to feel painful in my wallet to come order a sandwich ... especially when we're then also expected to add a tip. I hate it how the payment screen gets flipped to me to "finish the transaction" (read: add tip). This is not sustainable.
Where are the times where tipping was meant for waiters and service personnel who did something extra for the patrons? Why are we now also supposed to tip when we go order takeout (bakeries now also expect tips when you go buy a bread). What's next?...tip when we go to the grocery store?

I was so thrilled to find a new market with different cuisine in town. I HAD to try their fresh pasta. I was impressed. The portion was so much bigger than I thought! They have an amazing selection of oils and sauces and spices and homemade fresh foods. You can get a sandwich or sausage for a meal right there or snag a lasagna to bake at home for dinner. I will be going back for more pasta!
