Great evening with friends. Very spirited and loud crowd on a busy Saturday night. Elegant setting. Our waiter was very through, but the service was slow. Too much time between placing our drink order and delivery. Same for food, but since we were catching up with friends it did not matter that much. Some if the appetizers we tried were crab cakes, BLT salad and meatball. All were very good. Dinner selections included the pork chop, which they modified due to an allergy, tomahawk, porterhouse for 2, spinach, baked potato, truffle fries and Brussel sprouts. All portions were large. The steaks were cooked perfectly medium rare. We were all too full to try dessert on this visit. If you want to have an excellent meal and a lively atmosphere, you must visit Gabriele’s. I eat out often, and always try to find the best places. Gabriel’s has become my new favorite restaurant for either lunch or dinner. The bar area is beautiful and totally separate from a white table cloth dining room with a fireplace. If you’re looking for a great spot for a special occasion or just enjoy fine dining, you won’t be disappointed with Gabriel’s.
