Fish House Vera Cruz is a great place for a quick bite, a beer at the bar, or a nice sit-down meal. Classic fish house feel and decor. Impressive selection of fresh fish and sea food. 4 of us were seated immediately and our server was attentive and on point. Food came quick and was delish. Prepared perfectly and nice size portions. Ceviche, monk fish, fish tacos, and salads all received high praise from the table. Highly recommend the Fish House Vera Cruz and look forward to returning next time in the area. We've been going to Fish House for special family dinners since I was so young, I can't remember. I always love the sourdough bread and butter. All food is wonderful. Service is always great. This is a very different experience! It is a mix of a fish market with a restaurant. Lots of Spanish influences are very visible in the architecture. I was hoping to get a paella, but they didn't have it. I got the crab cakes and the Boston Clam Chowder. My friend got their cod plate with two sides. The food was very good. The crab cakes were filling and the dip was yummy. The soup was a star clam chowder. The cod plate was also very good. All in all, a good experience and I would recommend them if you have a group that loves seafood. Lots of parking right outside, so no issues there. I love going with my mom to eat here! They have amazing service and give a decent amount of food. All the food we've tried has been delicious, but we love the shrimp on a skewer entrée. As soon as you walk into this place, you're blown away By the Fish Tanks there's several of them. the staff is incredibly kind. The food was incredible seafood done perfectly. We dined on the patio and we all felt like we were forgotten about. Waiter took our drink order and were served in a reasonable amount of time. Dinner was ordered and while it wasn't too awful long for 3 of us 1 order was more than 15 minutes until my wife went to inquire about the 4th meal. She was told it was ready but still took a few more minutes until it was actually served. We had to ask about a couple of other things we had ordered and they came peacemeal. Not a great way to enjoy what could have been a very good meal. Maybe he was a new Waiter maybe not. If so, maybe he should have been more closely supervised. Sorry if the tip was less than expected.
