We always love it at Egon! A bit disappointing this time though. They took my favorite Baked Potato off the menu, and the fish soup was watery. Not very satisfied this visit! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person kr 100–200 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

It's fair enough. I agree with many good reviews here. But Egon is unreasonably expensive for what you get, though. Portions are smaller than the price suggests, compared to other places. It's good for its coziness, but if you isolate the food, its very expensive.

Often when shopping in Kristiansand, my wife likes to eat here because of its cosiness. But I find Egon very overrated. The pizza's are mediocre at it best. The pasta's are always too salt, the meat is leathery and the sauce is boring. The prices of beer and wine are insane. NOK 130,- for 25 cl white wine or 92,- for 0,3 cl Carlsberg is imho completely over the top. The personel is generelly friendly, but the 3 star rating is because of the cosiness, otherwise it would have been less. UPDATE Jan. 2022: ok, I must go up to 4*, the crust was much better this time, but still no Master Chef trophee...

Not the best payment system , you will have to get upp to the counter and pay and order your food. They got a big menu , but the food is okay . Could've been better in many areas.

Decent fold, decent prices. Good atmosphere and great staff. Food is delivered quickly, so it is not all freshly made. In my opinion the best place to eat inside the mall, and also the best in the whole shopping area (sørlandsparken).

The food was very good, they had excellent vegetarian options. Good soya free vegetarian options too, and the staff were very nice. The place looked very pretty with a lot of interesting things on the walls.

Skip the burger and get something else. It's not bad but for the price it's just not worth it. In the past both the nacho plate and pizza has been good which is why I rate it four stars. The staff has always been great!
