This is our second time here for dinner in the past two years and unfortunately have come away less than thrilled about the steaks. The service is great and the atmosphere is upscale and elegant but the steaks have been a big disappointment on both visits. On both visits they’ve come above the cooking temp requested and both times the steaks have not been seasoned enough. When you are paying over 60-70 dollars per steak you shouldn’t have to add alot of salt and pepper to your steak. The steaks were borderline bland. In the multitude of times visiting Ruth Chris or DC Prime I’ve never had to add seasoning because of the lack of flavor to a steak. Food is excellent. Service is fantastic 👏. It's a high-end restaurant. Their specialty is steak and seafood. Great Salmon. But you should try the rib eye and sea bass too. Oh, the grilled Roman lettuce is great for your choice of salad. Ambiance is soft and very relaxing. Don't forget to try the desert. The food is good, not overwhelming for the price, but it’s good and should be for the price. What they do as a team to serve you almost overshadows the food, or enhances it, to the point where you’re more focused on the experience of eating there and feeling good about it. We at at a low top ding table in the bar area, our server and every runner was so engaging and attentive, Patrick the GM and others that weren’t even serving us specifically checked in along the way, people watching the table for spacing, Re-folding napkins when someone gets up, asking us how things are; it’s everything you want when you spend a few hundred dollars or more for 2 people for dinner. No one rushed us, they weren’t rushing when they were at our table, just attentive polished service, personalized and genuine. I’d rather spend my time and money here with this team serving me than DC Prime across the street. Food is good in both places. Come here to feel good and be comfortable while you eat, not just eat..
