Excellent dining experience at this location! Although the place was packed, I get seated right away and my waitress, Kayla, was outstanding! The food was delicious and came out in a reasonable time. This is one of the better CBs and was right on time after a long day of driving (I’m a trucker by the way)! Stick to the breakfast. The sirloin steak is decent too. I have to start remembering to not get the chicken tenders from here because they don’t remove the cartilage so every single piece has inedible parts to it. Chicken pot pie was ok. Paid an extra $3 for the broccoli and cheese casserole for a side and they gave me the tiniest scoop. All the fried chicken items I’ve had from here have sucked. The prices are really good though but like I said, stick to the breakfast cause they do that best. Crackers Barrel is great always busy you know the food is good . Pancakes, French toast, biscuits, all amazing lunch and dinners are also good. Fry chicken is crunchy and well seasoned. My boyfriend and i had the best waitress ever at the Milford ct location. From sitting down to the end of our breakfast (1-21-2024). Brenda S. was such an all out awesome waitress. We can't wait to see her again. The laughs were well needed. Loved her jokes. It was such a great pleasure to have met her. If we could rate each one of them personally she would get 5+ stars. Wow! We finally got in after all of our attempts and it was worth the wait! Wonderful waitress, I had the Sunday Chicken and my wife had the Southern fried. We were both in heaven. Everything so plentiful, Mac and cheese was a wonderful situation, fried okra....so good! Biscuits spot on.... cornbread....well.....not great but not worth a point deduction. We split a peach iced tea/lemonade mix. Wonderful! The price....are you kidding? That little for all that goodness!? We pay more for some really horrible meals out! I recommend a little extra for the waitress if he/she does right by you . A 20% tip at these great prices is a pretty low tip. At about a $34 bill less than $7 tip was a bit low for people working so hard. Maybe one day we'll get inside again! Always good! Haven't met a Cracker Barrel that wasn't good. It was very busy. Staff was friendly and calm despite how busy it was. Service was quick and hot. We had catfish and the Saturday special Chicken Fried Pork Chops. Both were very good. Especially flavorful gravy on the pork. The shop was well stocked. Also, tidy even though it was so busy. The staff at the registers remained calm and patient even with the grumbling that was going on over rewards program or something and the line for payment.
