Take the tour!!! Gabriel was awesome!!! My second tour, make sure you bring friends... the bar staff is super friendly. Atmosphere is so laid back. You truly get a knowledge of the process, and then finish off in the Tasting Room for flights, cocktails and bar snacks. Plus the added smash burger food truck... cheers guys, you rock!!!

Went to Copper Fox for my birthday to do the tour and tastings. I had an amazing time. All of the staff were friendly and made me feel very welcome. Gabriel did our tour and he was informative and funny and I learned so much about how they create their spirits. I would definitely recommend stopping by

Amazing distillery, plenty to chose from. Large cocktail menu and cute gift shop
Update: March 1st, 2024 Rule #1 It's always about customer service. No response. Bad or no customer service losses business. I will never purchase a single thing from Copper Fox Distillery. UPDATE: 11 Feb 2024 So checked cask. Realized it was super light. Poured out about 1/3 of a coffee cup. This was a loss of $109. The distillery has good whiskey but this product was a failure. Very disappointed in home kit. Cask continually leaked, even following directions. Loss of $109. Warm atmosphere at disterlly. Had a great sampling and drink at Williamsburg Christmas Market.

Gabriel gave a fantastic tour. This was a great way to spend a few hours
The staff makes you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door. I highly recommend the Bourbon / Whiskey Flights! Very friendly and accommodating, especially when it came to my wife's nut and seafood allergies.
Almost walked right out of this place when we first arrived, but glad we gave it a chance. As Floridians visiting in January we were just looking for a cozy night out somewhere and found this on Google. Unfortunately, because of seat holding and confusing seating and ordering arrangements, I have to take points off. Immediately upon entering looking for a table, an older gentleman sitting ALONE at a table fitting about 8 people, kindly let us know he was waiting on friends, my husband and I understood and turned to the bar where the bartender had JUST picked up someone else's food and trash and 2 seats lay open. A young couple sitting next to these 2 seats rudely denied us the seats because "he was waiting on friends"... (btw, his friends never showed the entire 2 hours we stayed, but who's paying attention?!) So, my husband and I checked upstairs, immediately realized we would be forgotten up there, headed back downstairs to the only available seating... outside 🥶. I really wanted to leave. As the only Hispanics in the room, cold, and embarrassingly being denied seating, I felt uncomfortable. But nevertheless my husband LOVES bourbon and wanted to try this place badly so we remained patient. Sitting in the cold for about 15 minutes, no one came out to greet us/take our order so we walked back inside up to the the bar to order instead thinking this is what we needed to do ??? The kind bartender served us but apologized no one had come to us yet and let us know someone should be greeting us soon. Yet, not until another family arrived and joined the table next to us THEN the employee came out, turned the outside heater on, and checked on us after seeing us there from serving the others. The site and setting is so cute, relaxing and drinks are good, especially the hot toddy and firepits on a cold day!! Staff were super friendly and what appears to be the owner (a man standing in the backyard lighting the fires talking to all the guests like he owns the place) was very friendly as well and showed us kindness and hospitality. Even invited us to the little den in the "backyard" to watch football with him. I really wish the welcome/1st impression was different than what we experienced. Seat holding should be restricted as many places where we live are. Despite our weird intro to the place, I would recommend for a relaxing couple of drinks with a date or with some friends.... (if they show up that is 😂! )

Copper Fox is a great craft distillery with amazing spirits and a really informative tour. Our guide Gabriel was extremely knowledgeable and one of the staff members involved in a wide swath of the process of creating these spirits, so he gave a very engaging and energetic tour. It's amazing what Copper Fox produces for their relatively small scale. Highly recommend the tour and tasting room, and consider bringing some home as well!
