Chilis has aways been great to me until tonight. We were a group of 7-8 of us and we were surely going to spend $200 + on our dinner. Our server FRANCES was very passive aggressive for no reason. We were a group of friends trying to celebrate my friends birthday. FRANCES was giving us racist vibes. She was very unprofessional and making all of us feel uncomfortable because of her ugly attitude. Please chilis do something about that bitter woman. Came here for late lunch with my family party of 4 upon entering the restaurant the lady in the service stand was extremely rude she never greeted us I walk up to sign up for the waitlist but she quickly cut me off with a attitude stating that they have no seating available several times almost like she wanted us to just leave. Even though there was several empty tables and booths she then told me if I’d like to sit in the bar area I was free to do so. Even though she saw me with two kids and a nb in a car seat so I said ok but she knew very well there was nowhere to put my baby at the bar. So again with a attitude she tells me there’s no seating and a wait time so I asked how long is the wait she stated 15m I said that’s not bad I’ll wait but she just stood there staring me down 🤷🏻‍♀️ . Since there was several people & family’s waiting I asked if she was going to put my name down on the list she again so rudely said no so I asked her how would she call us if we weren’t on her list she yelled at me and said “ because I’ll remember “ I have never been disrespected and treated so poorly. I felt horrible and wanted to leave but my family was Hungry we stayed even though I felt very uncomfortable the entire time too the point where I couldn’t even enjoy my meal. Love Chili's, but their Surf and Turf sucked. Steak was poor quality, and shrimp was small and tasteless. We were overcharged by $200.00. How our waitress did not notice is beyond me. We were being charged for things we didn't even order! Good thing we noticed and had it corrected. Our waitress was very bossy. She asked my kids to stack up plates and pass them to her. I'm not opposed to being helpful, but she had no manners. I observed as my kids obeyed and handled the situation with the utmost respect. My kids and I later discussed the situation, and I praised them for the way they handled the situation. Guess who earned the tip in this situation?!
