First time ever at a Cheddars. It Didn't disappoint. Good comfort food. Cozy atmosphere. They're fresh, flaky bread with drizzled butter, like it was icing. Delicious house and Caesar salad. Great spot for dining and drinks, or if you strawberry lemonade, so yummy. Dinner was amazing. Good side vegetables. Great atmosphere after a long day at the aquarium. Our server, David, was such a breath of fresh air. He definitely had his professional hat on tonight. His customer service was top-notch. My family and I had a wonderful time. The food was amazing. Hot and fresh. The girl's trip was a success that ended at Cheddar's. The drinks were phenomenal. The food was phenomenal and our server was totally excellent. The Honey Butter Crescent rolls were buttery, fluffy, flaky and so delicious. The spinach dip is a must it's creamy and rich with flavor. I had the drink called The Painkiller. At first it tasted like a coconut candy bar and then it started to taste like an eggnog at Christmas time Delicious! This has to be one of the worst Cheddar's that I have ever been to. I did not give it a one-star rating because there were some positive aspects to my visit. I ordered the chicken tender platter and the chicken was moderately warm. But the fries were the some of the worst that I've ever had. They were soggy and cold and not very pleasant to eat. I was later told by an employee that the fries had been sitting there for about an hour before they were served to me. So they must have been left over from lunch time. You can see for my pictures that the fries were definitely not up to par. They even brought me out a second batch of fries and they were of the same quality. If I were to give advice to anybody it would be, do not go there in between lunch and dinner. As you may end up with leftovers from lunch. My parents are locals and we took them there for a treat. Even they said that they probably would not return. Edit: I have to give them some credit because they contacted me and are trying to remedy the situation. We will go back and see if things have improved. If they have improved I will change my rating. I'll keep you updated. Decent place. Kind of put out by allergy issues. Was told “I don’t know what to tell you that you can eat. Sorry”. I have alpha gal. No attempt to ensure I was happy and able to order. Great food, we were a party of 6 and did not wait long to be seated. Cameron, our server, was fantastic and was quick to respond to our requests. The croissants are the best part of the meal! It's a Classic Midwestern American chain restaurant. I ordered the New Orleans pasta and the noodles were a bit overdone, but the portions are great for the price. On the other hand our waitress Olena was amazing and treated us like her guests. Overall not bad, but also not the best either. Our server was great, very personable with a good attitude and constantly checking on us. The value for the money was also very good. Food wise it was nothing special but I'm not complaining. We had a family meal here for 12 on a summer vacation in June 2023. We got seated in the bar and had one server. He tried his best but we had very long wait times for our entrees , appetizers , drinks and a few of the orders (for kids) arrived ten or fifteen minutes late. I would not recommend you coming to this establishment during your family fun vacation time in Branson Missouri. Go to landry’s seafood or longhorn or lamberts. Avoid this place and proceed with caution.
