The best meal we’ve had in a long time. We love to sit at the bar and meet “new best friends” and had a wonderful experience chatting with our mixologist, Goo and “new friends” Sue and John. The crab cake appetizer, sea scallops & shrimp and the duck confit were all outstanding! To top it all off — creme brûlée. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I celebrated my birthday at Cav for a delightful brunch experience. The service at this restaurant was simply outstanding, providing us with a truly exceptional dining experience. The interior of the restaurant was adorned with exquisite artisan decor and a stunning collection of antiques, showcasing the rich influences of African and Asian cultures. It is truly a hidden gem in Rhode Island, offering a sophisticated atmosphere that elevates the overall dining experience. Despite having a concise menu, the quality of the food was exceptional in every way. For my meal, I indulged in the delectable Maine lobster and eggs, which was cooked to perfection. Additionally, I had the pleasure of savoring a bowl of their famous clam chowder, which was rich and flavorful. To complement my meal, I also enjoyed a few seasonal beverages that were both refreshing and delightful. Overall, Cav provided an unforgettable dining experience that exceeded all expectations. Had great time at this restaurant. Make sure you have space in your phone for pictures. It is magical . We were lucky to be able to enjoy both decorations because we went on the last weekend of the Halloween Decour. And they had already started decorating the downstairs for Christmas. My husband’s and I celebrated our anniversary at CAV this week. We went for a unique lunch experience and felt like we were transported mid-day to an exotic hideaway. The spaces here were intimate and cozy, our lunch felt so relaxed and our server made us feel like we were truly important to him. The menu is varied and clearly labeled for dietary restrictions, everything looked incredible. We ordered the Tuna Romano and Chicken Parmesan. Both dishes were served promptly. The portion sizes were large enough to need take away boxes and both meals were fantastic! We are hoping to get back for brunch and dinner service soon! We have always loved this place and it’s unique decor, creative dishes, and always great service. We went on a Friday evening and were sat right away in a romantic cozy nook of the restaurant. We started with the long stem Roman artichoke hearts for our appetizer, absolutely delicious! My husband had the pasta with lobster and I had the sirloin special. We certainly didn’t leave anything on our plates, every bite was scrumptious! Can’t wait to go back again, we need to try everything on the menu!

There to celebrate a birthday! Food was awesome as usual. We started with calamari (pan seared not deep fried) an absolute if you like calamari. My friend had her usual - Duck confit and tried the Shrimp, Cannellini Beans & Tomatoes the sauce elevated the dish (yummy). I had the Ponegranate martini - also yummy. Good balance of the flavors. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive even though it was a Friday night - he managed his section well ( wish I could remember his name-desires props). Only criticism- the bathroom needs some updating and/or more check-ins for cleanliness and supplies. Absolutely will be returning and soon.
