Service was terrible. Ordered a red wine and was brought a bottle of white 15 minutes later. Sat waiting for another 30 minutes before getting the attention of another waiter who then informed us that our order hadn't gone through to the kitchen and that it would come soon.
We waited another 15 minutes and saw a waitress come out with some food. This was for the staff who stood near the kitchen eating.
At this point we left money for the bottle of wine and left. I'm sorry I didn't look up a review as I would have seen the other bad reviews.
I've never walked out of a restaurant before actually getting served.
I'm currently sitting at the Chinese restaurant next door where service has been top notch so far.

I really don't understand why this place has such a low rating (3.8). We had an English breakfast, everything was excellent! Crispy toast, tasty sausages, beans, great! 7.5 euros.

Absolutely abhorrent experience. As soon as we sat down, we were greeted by a waiter who seemed to regret the very minute he started working there. This individual then gave us 3 menus: food, smoothies and alcoholic beverages.
We first ordered the the smoothies, only to be told that they had neither of the two we ordered. So we ordered two of the same smoothie. Another waiter came and told us they only had one left. So we got the one.
For our food, we ordered calamari fritti and two ‘Bus Stop Burgers’. The calamari fritti were good. The burgers, however, are a different story. This €16.50 burger consisted of a poached egg, bacon and the patty. Upon biting into the burger, you come to the stark realisation that the patty is a generic prepackaged one, for which you paid somewhat premium price for it. The subpar patty was then accompanied with even more mediocre fries, which were both bland and soggy.
The bill’s total? €57.95.
Absolutely disappointed, with the only stars of the show being the calamari and the bottle water.

Even thought reviews for this place show much criticism, our experience here was absolutely good. We went during happy hours to have an aperol spritz and it was indeed well prepared, along with friendly staff. The atmosphere of the place is really nice, since it is located in the heart of Valletta. No pigeon attacks.

Very, very big portions, a starter is basically a meal. Would say it's more like british food, ordered salad and it was completely soaked in mayonnaise. Very good drinks and helpful staff.
