The deep dive into the atmosphere of the movie. Just like Bubba survived 50 years ago and opened his own business with Forrest as planned. Food was great, better than expected from franchise. Really enjoyed my meal! I'm a huge shrimp lover, and the all you can eat was absolute heaven! The fried calamari on the side complimented it perfectly, and all the dipping sauces were amazing too! Also a huge Forrest Gump fan, so the atmosphere, decor, and gift shop is perfect if you are too! Highly recommend!!! It's probably the best service I have ever gotten in a chain restaurant, but the food was alright, yet nothing out of the ordinary and the atmosphere was noisy, dirty and the table and menus were filthy. The shrimp was cooked fresh, but everything else was definitely a little old. It was cool to see all the shots from the movie around you, and you do get to keep the cups from your alcoholic drinks. We went on a slow quiet Wednesday afternoon. We were able to enjoy the beautiful sunny weather in Galveston. This restaurant is right at the pier and beachfront. There is outdoor seating as well! Paula was our wonderful server. She knew so much about the menu when we’d asked her questions and that’s always important. She even assisted us in taking many photos. We ordered fried pickles, Caesar salad, and fried fish & fries. Good food but the customer service was even better. Thank you Paula you are amazing ❤️😄 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I didn’t have high hopes for a huge chain restaurant and expected a tourist trap. But this place was Fantastic!!! The service was great from beginning to end. And the food was so freaking good. We got the Stuffed Shrimp, clam chowder(best I’ve had on the island hands down), jambalaya, Cesar salad, and some drinks. Everything was great and I’ll definitely be back next time we’re on the island. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had the Alabama chicken and pasta - it was okay. The strawberry shortcake was good though. Server was personable but felt we were ignored quite a few times when we needed something and our Run Forrest Run sign was flipped. My friends' orders were just meh, as well. The warm gooey cookie was served hard and cold, which they did take off the bill. Wasn't terrible but I had higher expectations.
