My husband and I went for lunch the other day. We haven't been in years. I gave three stars because, although my goat cheese sausage pizza was very good, he ordered the French dip, which was quite grisly. The server, who was very nice but appeared to be new, asked what side my husband would like with his sandwich, so he said the sautéed mushrooms. We assumed this was a side included with his meal, given the way it was presented, but it was actually an extra $5. He only ate half since they were not very good.
Blue Water is not a bad place to eat, but it is a little pricey on some things.
We also didn't understand why some of their dinner streak entrees said market price. The market doesn't change that much. We feel this was just a way to charge whatever they felt like charging, depending on how much they were bringing in that day/week.

This was the second time I've been here. My partner introduced me to this place and I haven't been disappointed, yet. We stopped here for dinner after a ski lesson at Cannonsburg as we were famished. Even though it was busy we were seated immediately since it was just the two of us - right by the fire. It was a great spot after our ski lesson. We ordered a build-your-own vegan pizza that was pretty amazing. Our waitress was quick and attentive.

Had a BWG Hot cider cocktail that was excellent. Very tasty
Ordered the beef tenderloin andnit was cooked perfect and very tender. A nice sauce. Potatoes and asparagus.very nice.
Meal does not come with a salad. And you have to request a roll. A bit disappointing.
We had a nice view of the kitchen and wood fire pizza oven. Was nice for awhile, but then not so. Restaurant was busy and very noisy. Not the atmosphere I enjoy,.especially when paying market price for a meal.

We arrived just before the dinner rush and had the option to sit outside which we did because it was a beautiful day! Our waiter was great and made sure we had everything we needed the whole time.
My sister and I decided to split the blackened chicken risotto and the sausage with goat cheese pizza. The kitchen was kind enough to plate our risotto on two plates for us!
Honestly, I don’t know the last time I had food that tasted that good. It was just so good!
Between the food, the view of the lake, and the service, I definitely recommend Blue Water for those looking for delicious views, delicious food, and a great experience! 10/10 would recommend.

This has to be one of the most beautiful restaurants in grand rapids. I was amazed I hadn't heard of it before when I saw the pictures online. I was a little confused as to what kind of a restaurant they want to be tho. The building is amazing but some decorations were only half done and their patio area needed some help. The landscaping is too overgrown and clearly wasn't cared for at the end of the previous season. The inside and the outside don't feel like the same restaurant. Definitely a little let down.
The food was pretty tasty but the dishes were all something you'd find on just about any catering menu. Not very imaginative (for the price.) Although our server was very kind and attentive!
Overall, if you want to sit and enjoy some pretty views of the lake and have a couple drinks and a simple meal this is definitely a great option! Unfortunately I don't feel particularly drawn to returning any time soon.

Decent place. super nice interior, very loud an busy so if you're looking for a quiet evening this isn't the place. Came here with my girlfriend an had a really nice time. Food is pretty average but isn't real expensive either. Staff seemed a little short staffed, but was friendly. Over all nice evening but wasn't blown away either.
