Phenomenal burger. Cooked perfectly. Butter and toasted buns on point. Creamed spinach was delish. Tina's service was on point throughout the dining experience. I totally recommend this location to anyone desiring a good beer, great food combined with amazing service. 5 🌟. The food was amazing. The coroner service was even better. They were so nice and personable. Some of the best catfish in the city if you ask me. I would definitely return. The location could be better but there is a location in Midtown that is bigger. 9.3/10 after me and the wife did our own rating system lol. Nothing like it used to be. The food was not top tier like I'm familiar with coming from The Blue Monkey. I haven't been to this location in years, so that might have been part of the problem. The waitress was on her phone, in & out of the restaurant and tried to be attentive. When it was time to pay my cousin's charge came to her phone as Hertz's Rental Car Payment. We asked the manager and he said "it does that sometimes!" 🤔😳 That solidified my last visit that location. Lol... it smelled good, so I started eating before I took the picture. I had the blackened grilled chicken with wild rice, and it was so good from a rustic standpoint. But look, let me tell you, lol... whoever broke the cook's heart, please give him a chance to explain because he sang every r&b song that he could think of.🤣🤣🤣 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

I can't help but sing the praises of The Blue Monkey downtown – I’ve been going here decades! The ambiance is super easygoing and relaxed with a steady flow of people and you can tell they've got a dedicated crowd of regulars who love this place, and I can see why. The food is consistently excellent, and the quality is something you can rely on. Their salmon Caesar salad will knock your socks off - the best ever! I’m addicted!!! The flavors and textures are a party on your taste buds. Now, let's talk about that salmon itself. The cuts are amazing, the salad is crispy and fresh, a match made in food heaven. But what really seals the deal for me is their salad dressing – no matter which one you choose, it's simply the best. I get the Caesar or blue cheese. The Blue Monkey has won me over with their fantastic food and the kind of consistency that's hard to come by. It's a spot I return to time and time again. It’s a staple in Memphis!
