Our last visit to Ayame this past Friday was awful. We ordered a Nigiri and sashimi dinner. After my wife complained to me that her Hamachi tasted like it was bad, I decided to inspected my Hamachi. It really smelled bad and super fishy. All the redness you see in a nice Hamachi nigiri was all brown. It also looked like the sushi chef had trimmed the brownness away as well. I should've returned our meal but I really felt sorry for them. Usually this restaurant is full. This past Friday it was virtually empty, only 2 tables had people. This will be the last time we go to this sushi restaurant. This was the second time over the past year we have had bad fish. Besides, the sushi chef/owner never greets any guests like ALL Japanese/Sushi restaurants we go to.
