i do NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone, i will never be eating here again, when my boyfriend and i had first arrived we had noticed a female server hanging out boxes, dropped one on the floor and put it right back on the stack of boxes to be handed out to future customers, we had arrived around 6:45 ish and didn’t get sat until around 7, wasn’t busy or anything. didn’t get greeted until almost 7:30, waited until almost 8 for our appetizer, which had clearly been sitting because the dips had a film, our food came out about 5 minutes after our app, and my plate had hair on it, which i’m usually not to picky about because i’m a server and get that it had nothing to do with my server but he clearly didn’t listen to me very well while taking my order, my mashed potatoes were made incorrectly, my steak was over cooked and burnt, when i had asked for medium well. My boyfriend and I were both missing a side and were told it would be out shortly, waited another 20 minutes still received nothing, so we had decided to leave. seems like they have a bunch of people who have no idea what they’re doing as servers. i’m a server myself and understand things get busy and backed up, there were majority of maybe 7-9 tables being used there was no reason we should’ve had to wait almost a hour for our food nor should we have had to wait as long as we did for any service at all. the service we received tonight was very disappointing we will never be returning. Personally my experience the last 2 times wasn't good. The food is never cooked to standard. My wife's chicken had way too much salt that she couldn't even eat it. The waitress was friendly, but took her forever to give refills, they were busy though, but she was at our table once and our glasses were empty, and never offered refills until we asked. My steak was closer to raw than it was medium rare. My coleslaw was dry. The mashed potatoes were the best part of my entree. The best part of the whole meal was when my son offered me one of his cheese sticks. I tried a second time. Just not worth the time. This place needs a serious remodeling. The restrooms are strange and trashed. The carpeting or whatever the flooring is is disgusting. My burger was good but our other dish was very salty. Applebee's isn't the best place, but they are good for a burger and a cheap beer. Our service was good, and the server was polite, friendly, and helpful. Can't call and place a order and the app apparently doesn't give them the order. Staff member seemed pretty certain my order wasn't placed before I started even explaining the food that was ordered. I guess they know it's broken. Sad, I use to call and place order and eat there alot. This was the last time I try and give them my business.
