Come here for some rest after a long walk around Marsh's Free Museum. Most guests recommend trying nicely cooked clam chowder, halibut and mussels. The great location of this bar makes it easy to reach by any transport. Many reviewers mark that you can have good craft beer, cider or stout at Worlds End Public House. The bartender was super real with us, an awesome bartender through and though, which I appreciated wholeheartedly because I come from an industry background myself. We came to world's end to have a drink and a good conversation and she absolutely delivered. She was knowledgeable about the tap beers and offered us samples when we didn't know what to have. One hundred percent we'll be back for good conversation and a relaxing atmosphere Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had the crab melt and it was pretty good. Chowder is about average and beer is beer. Staff was kind.

Stopped by for lunch on my daughter's birthday. I had the ahi tuna fish and chips. Pretty good! Not the best I've ever had, but pretty good. Staff seemed friendly, but stressed. Whatever it was I hope it gets better. The place is for sale, so perhaps that had something to do with it. Good beverage selection and a relaxed no hurry atmosphere. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Made ourselves regulars here during our stay in the area. The cod fish n chips were SOOO good. Locally brewed beer was tasty. Even on a very very busy weekend (4th of july) it wasn't very busy inside at all. The barrels made into tables smell so good when you walk in. The bartender server lady was trying really really hard to be nice, our first few visits she was short & seemed annoyed to serve us. Overall, a really great place w good beer & delicious food! Food was good enough to earn a couple stars, but the Trump 2024 bill on the wall at the bar means we wont be back. Figured we should let anyone else who believes in progress and not recession to know before you choose this place to patron. Edit: Response from the owner is definitely dropping to one star. Thanks for confirming we wont be back! ❤️ Seems like another Amy's Baking Company.

Great little pub. The food was delicious. We had halibut fish and chips and a halibut wrap. The beers were also tasty. We had Nebula an oatmeal stout, one of the best I've ever had and 2 IPAs which were also very good. They handle the staff shortage in a fair and friendly way. We will be back and others should try it out..highly recommended. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Sat 22 Oct 2022 (3.5 Stars) Looking for Seafood, since we were at the coast. The "Cannon Balls" (deep fried mushrooms) were the best thing we had at this location. The Chowder was pretty good. The fish and chips were below what we were expecting. Small and not tasty. Staffing was two people, one counter and one cook. The restaurant was almost empty when we arrived, but 1/2 to 3/4 full when we left. You order at the counter, pickup at the counter, and bus your own table. The decorations were fitting and nice for the restaurant style and menu. A sign at the cash register said "The restaurant was forvsale." Really cool pirate and nautical decor, decent meal, but the service was not there at all. The fish and chips was also very small fish portions when compared to other spots nearby. We had no issue with going up to the counter and ordering our meal. But the person taking our order seemed to jump on us about weird things and came across as unwilling to serve us. They seemed to take some issue about how we didn't pick out a table before we ordered. And then assumed that we weren't ready to order so we should go look at the menus at the front of the restaurant and step out of the line. And then when delivering our food, she just gave us whatever food was in her hand, acknowledged she didn't remember who ordered what, and just couldn't be bothered to ask. I wouldn't have cared if the server asked us questions if they were unsure. But it was just a whole lot of attitude and assumptions instead of just talking to us like paying customers who would tip based on the service.

Fantastic joint. Tasteful (and fun) decor, a clean environment, friendly and fast service, and delicious food make for an exceptional dining/drinking experience. The halibut fish and chips, chowder, and fish tacos were all exceedingly fresh and colorful, and are highly recommended. The drink variety is extensive and we were pleased to see that there were a number of options on the kids menu. 10/10 would gladly dine here again!

Hey guys - This is place is pretty new (August 2019) and absolutely worth checking out! Great food, awesome craft beer selection, full bar, super clean, and the best service! Swing by there and say Hi to Kelly (their Manager). You won't regret giving this place a shot! A welcome addition to Long Beach! ❤️
