Cozy but spacious place with a fireplace surrounded by comfy chairs and a selection of large and small tables. Had the lemon-blueberry scone and the chai tea. The tea was hot, sweet and spicy and the scone was soft and tasty. Definitely, would go again

Coffee is definitely good or acceptable. However, the staff/service is hit or miss. Today, unfortunately, for me, the service was definitely, most assuredly, by anyone's measure a miss. The young lady working the front counter I could have cut her contempt and annoyance with my fiance and I with a knife. We didn't exactly know what we wanted, we're relatively new to the menu, but it definitely wasn't rush hour. Maybe assist us instead of casting daggers by looking down your nose and sighing?
Look, not everyone loves their low wage job, I get that, I really do, but damn, the coffee is expensive enough, I don't feel like paying extra in poor customer service attitude is what we need to be doing. The owner/manager may want to address that. I'm less likely to patron the store and brand as a whole if this is repeated. many Starbucks and Mercury's, Cafe Ladro, Becca's very nearby. Just saying. A simple smile goes a long way.
