Took 2.5 hours to get our food while the 14 top next to us that ordered after us got served and even finished up before our food got here. The waitress couldn’t even be bothered to offer us refills. Will never be back don’t waste your time/money The food was served cold and not all at once. I have never in my life felt the need to write a bad review of a restaurant while sitting at the table until now. My hamburger was great need to be cooked a little more to me and they didn't ask me how I wanted it done or what I told him I wanted it done. However the appetizer basket of fried mushrooms corn nuggets chicken tenders Etc tasted like the oil it was Friday and was old and gave me some very bad stomach issues to the point that I couldn't even eat the next morning until about middle of the day they're just staying in the bathroom and stomach aches. Since this was the last place that I ate at before I had the issues I'm pretty sure that that's where they came from. Again however the hamburger was pretty good a little more pink than I would have liked wasn't impressed with the so-called atmosphere really even for a Pub atmosphere it had a lacking service was great though. We ordered two different drinks from the menu. The waitress returned twice saying they didn't have some ingredients for both. ON A SATURDAY NIGHT. That made us decide to not staying in this place and leave after drinking what we had to get. We asked for the ticket and she brought it. She never came back to take the payment. We had to find her sitting on a table texting on her phone and make her close our account. Food was great. Food took a little while to come out because they were a little busy. Drinks were okay this night. We are veterans and came out to eat together and we sat down by the game area and when the young men hit the punching bag my dad, husband and I almost jumped out of our seats. We love the Wooden Nickel. Great service, great food, great people. I had the gyro and it was portioned right. Maybe a little too many fries, but I don't like wasting food. We had a travel ball game in Valdosta, and there was an FSU game on that Saturday. Our coach reserved us a room, so whomever wanted to could go and watch the game. Two different age groups from The Renegades showed up, so we took a good portion of the place. We were loud and our waitress ran a lot but we had a great experience there. She explained that there would be a delay with getting our food, and we were appreciative of that. When we did get our food, it was really good. Their garlic parmesan wings were the best I have EVER had, and I loved their fried pickles and fries. The kids lived their little game area, and the basketball game was the favorite of them all. I would recommend this place to anyone and will be back if we are ever in the area again! Food was great. Arcade games at back were fun. Bring cash for those! My husband got the Reuben and I got their burger add bacon. The burger was delicious! Atmosphere was chill and inviting.
