Some of the best barista work I've had. The dryest cappuccino I've ever seen, and a very nice latte. The beans they use are not to my taste, but I'll accept that as just a preference. When they asked me if I wanted room for cream, I replied, "No. If the coffee's worth drinking, it's worth drinking black." They assured me the coffee was worth drinking, and indeed, theirs was no idle boast. The coffee was excellent. Restaurants in Los Alamos always seem to have short halflives, but I hope this one endures. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Excited for a new spot in Los Alamos! Unfortunately the inexperienced baristas will keep me going to Pig and Fig for my coffee/pastries. In response to the owner: yes, then don't staff them alone...the coffee was still $7 and bad. Also, when I asked if I could speak to the owner, your employee asked me not to do it because it meant "they will yell at me". So I chose to review here instead. We had a long conversation that morning about what a cappuccino actually is because he served me a latte and was stubborn to admit he wasn't a great barista yet. He was way over stressed with the number of people in the place (maybe 8 other customers) and couldn't handle it. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
