Glad there is some soul food out here. And glad that it is family owned 🙌🏽👏🏽 Fisrt off, everyone was soooo nice and welcoming - they made me feel like I have been there before. Like family 💕 Lovee it! Now the menu, the menu is 🤌🏽😘 perfect. Has all the sides and seafood I personally like. (I am pescatarian) I have heard that their wings are poppin though. Anyway, I ordered fish/shrimp collards, cajun rice and cornbread. And I enjoyed it very much, my only criticism would be more seasoning in the greens (make them more flavorful or smoky) and a littttlle more seasoning on the fish but otherwise - I will be returning. I'm a creole girl who moved to the middle of no where and I need my fix every now and then. Been here twice now and am VERY happy to keep coming back. The food is full of flavor and cooked perfectly. This fried cat fish changed my life today Like most restaurants, not every wing is going to be perfect but they are SO BOMB. Seems like a newer place, a very family owned environment. It can only get better! I can’t wait to see this place in a few years from now Thank you guys and cheers to the chef! The family that owns this are super great! The wings and shrimp were awesome! The sides - Okra and rice and beans are great. The seasoning on the fries is amazing and would love if they used it as a dry rub for the wings! She should for sure jar that and sell it!!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
