So delicious! One of the best all-around meals I’ve had in Lawrence for a while. A lovely place for a “fancier” meal to celebrate, or just because. I believe our server’s name was Brian, and they were lovely and helpful!

We were in tonight for an office Christmas party with 17 people in our group — a big undertaking!! The experience was elevated by our waiter, Tyler! His attentive service, genuine enthusiasm & knowledgeable recommendations truly enhanced our evening! Kudos to Tyler for helping make our Christmas party so great!!! Food and drinks were superb. Highly recommend Wine Dive + Kitchen for big office parties but also would be great for date night.

Hubby and I met our bffs here. The atmosphere is quite lovely! Dark wood tables, bar and floors with pendant fixtures sporadically placed. One wall is dedicated to a wine room, the other the bar. 4 tops mostly prevail with booth seating against the walls. We arrived at 4pm and had the place to ourselves. Our server, Annie, was informative, efficient and helpful. It was HAPPY HOUR! YAY! I had the 6.00 prosecco which was tasty and a great pour. Bff had the red flight, hubby the margarita (which comes in a small glass but packs a potent amount) and bffs husband, a beer. We ordered the burrata and edamame and not at all disappointed. The edamame comes smothered in ginger sauce, sesame and some spicy sauce I can't remember. Bff and I cleared that plate in 5 flat. The burrata was just a luscious and creamy concoction that melted in one's mouth AND a work of art! I had the French onion soup and this was a bit disappointing. It was served tepid. I like my soups piping hot. The cheese melting was spot on but after poking my spoon to the bottom, I pulled up the croutons and onions and found it a bit bland. Nothing but an onion water taste. The wedge salad was fine. I should've asked for more blue cheese crumbles as there were 5 or 6 small pieces as well as 2 halved cherry tomatoes and 3 chunks of bacon. It had ALOT of iceberg lettuce. So, probably not ordering that again nor the soup. That all being said, the dessert was OUT OF THIS WORLD! I had the chocolate cake which was a freaking Skyscraper in size! LOOK AT IT! 7 layers of heaven on a plate. Every bite delivered the same thing: chocolate, moist cake and creamy icing. Just absolutely divine! BFF had the creme Brule and shared with hubby until they were literally, fighting over it. I didn't partake as my slice of heaven was making me one very happy person! The bathroom is very clean and they have deluxe paper towels that don't feel like sandpaper. 4 stars for food and 5 for service and atmosphere. Go for happy hour. We ate alot of food, had drinks and dessert and the bill was 75.00. They also offer pre fixe dinners that was just starting when we departed. Nice addition to Mass street!

Excellent food. My wife had coq au vin. I had the scallops. Best scallops in Lawrence. The squash soup appetizer was wonderful, it had a slice of fried apple. There are a number of other interesting dishes on the menu. We'll be coming back to try more.

My Dad and I came to visit KU and we stopped for dinner here and we absolutely loved it! The food was amazing, had the best calamari ever. Service was great, staff was super friendly and gave us some insights on Lawrence. If I visit again, we would definitely come back here :)

Lamb looked delicious- but was a little flat and bland and very soupy. Wine was delicious, apps great. Dessert to die for! Atmosphere fabulous.

My daughter and I headed to Lawrence last night for the wonderful Moth MainStage storytelling performance (first time in the State of Kansas!) and my job was to find the best place possible for dinner… I opened the Open Table app and at the top of the list was Wine Dive + Kitchen… the google star reviews were only 4.3 but when I looked at the photos and the menu, I promptly made a reservation…..and we were thrilled that we did!
From the friendly greeting of the two hostesses, to our perfect seating in a booth within view of the striking bar, to our hardworking-to-please waiter, Tyler, we could not have asked for a better meal!
We started off with cocktails and the bacon appetizer. It literally melted in our mouths. What was great about it was the salt, fat, acid from pickled veggies and a little sweet from the maple BBQ sauce… a fantastic start! The service literally took our used dishes to immediately deliver the next course, salads - the Harvest Apple Salad with poppy seed dressing and the Beet Salad with greens…light, fresh, well balanced… onto a shared entree of Coq au Vin, fall off the bone tender chicken braised in red wine with diced fall vegetables… with one of our favorite dishes of the night, mashed potatoes with Gruyère…heavenly, perfect consistency. We finished this feast by sharing a piece of Pumpkin Cheesecake… we could not have asked for a better meal!! Thanks, WD+K!!❤️ we’ll be back!!

Wow!! Love this place. Visited for the 1st time yesterday for a business meeting. Sampled the Meatballs, Coconut shrimp and Burrata. All were amazing and pricing was good since it was happy hour between 3-6 pm. Immediately made a dinner reservation for today with my wife. We both had the Smoked Maple Old Fashioned. Awesome!! We also had the Chianti. Very nice. The Calamari was some of the best I've had. My wife had the Coq Au Vin and raved about it. I had the Wild Boar Ragu. Wasn't sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. Great staff and servers!!! Thanks for a wonderful date night!! We will be back and will spread the word.
