Now that I have some power in the van, I can have food onboard again. I stopped at the Winco for bread, creamer, cheese and some sliced turkey. Hooray!
The store is decently laid out and organized. I found the prices to be okay and the shelves were neatly stocked. I can appreciate the bare concrete floors - my cart worked well but it was a bit slippy here with a spill that had been tracked.
My “Go To” spot for ALL my grocery needs! Always clean and organized. Helpful staff and a large selection of everything you need from “soup to nuts”, international items, pet foods, organic foods, and a large “Bulk Items” section … all at affordable prices.
usually never have a bad experience shopping here until last night when someone was washing the floor in the back area where the milk and eggs are, it was shut off so no one could walk back there so I decided to see if the man could at the very least help me by grabbing me a jug of milk because the only reason I even went there was to get cereal and milk and he couldn’t really speak English well but I know that he knew what I was wanting and I even begged pretty much and he just shook his head no and said sorry no over and over and I feel like I should have just walked and grabbed it myself because that was extremely rude of him. I think that maybe they shouldn’t hire people that aren’t willing to help their customers out that’s just really messed up in my opinion or close your store if your going to make part of your store unavailable to your customers you should just close for a few hours for them to work on your floor rather than have people tell your customers no when they are trying to buy your products. Ended up buying the milk elsewhere because I had no other choice.
An employee’s own food store that has everything fully stocked and ready to help with any questions we had . The prices are very reasonable. Hopefully, they will come to nation wide soon 🙏🏻🥰❤️. Thanks for the memories of our trip to the west coast. Till next time WinCo foods .
Prices are high. Very disorganized store, especially at checkout. Lady at self checkout made you feel like you were asking for the world when asking for help. She was rude and made you feel inferior. Only went there to shop because my choice of store was out of my coffee. The only positive was getting my Turkey on sale. The ticket price was $17, and I got it for $10. If my store is out of coffee again, I think I'll try to find it elsewhere.
This WinCo Food location is fantastic!
The produce, organic foods, and bulk foods are clean and well stocked.
The prices are very reasonable, and the service is fine. The store is clean and well lit. I would definitely recommend shopping here!
Love this store more everytime I visit. Great selection and quality at a better price than any other store in my area. Always excellent experiences with customer service as well.
I'm a little apprehensive about the upcoming changes to the deli department. I do hope it's a positive change and is a good fit for our community.
Don't waste time coming here. I had a few groceries over 15. And the lady at self check out refused me service because I had 19 items. I told her I've never had a problem before. So I said I'll just shop somewhere else
Winco is great. They are open 24 hours and have an exceptional selection with some of the lowest prices in Grants Pass. The only issues I have with winco are that the lines can be intense. Like send someone in your party to get on line when you first get in the store intense. Also, they don't accept credit cards if that matters to you. Other than that, it's probably the most consistently cheap store in Grants Pass. Like all the stores here, some things are better deals and some things are over abstract price. If you don't feel like going to multiple stores, this is a good option, though. It's even better if you can come during off hours to avoid the lines. If you are heading to Medford, Sherms 24 hour food for less probably has a better selection and better prices on meat. Plus, they have larger sizes of some items like you might get at Costco. For Grants Pass though Winco is the best grocery store. Especially since the walmart is no longer open all day. It's also convenient that it's so close to bargain outlet, Fred Meyer's, and Walmart, so if you wanted to go to different stores to get the best prices, it's not too bad. The parking lot is also kind of rough at peak hours.
Went to check out and there were no lanes open. Obliviously we had to many items for self check out but we went over there anyway…
The lady said we had too many items I said I know but there are no lanes open she said the machines can’t hold that many items and I repeated what I said the first time slightly more annoyed by her response and asked what she would like us to do. She proceeded to look over at the other lanes and said well one should be open so we waited 10 minuets for a lane to open no thanks to her customer service or helpful attitude.🙄
In case your wondering the appropriate response would have been “ I’m so sorry I did realize let me call someone over to help you”
It’s simple…
