I have been traveling down interstate 90 for close to 3 decades and always wanted to stop in to wall drug well today I finally got my chance and it was well worth the stop, as soon as I entered I was greeted by Benjamin who was someone just about every company’s wishes for when it comes to first contacts with customers very friendly and welcoming, the store itself was well laid out and easy to move around, the bathrooms were spotless and well kept up, will I go back absolutely

Nice stop with ev chargers nearby. Their marketing on the highway was impressive. 5 cents coffee is legit. Food was decent. Cool little stop
Had to visit, we heard all the hype. Now we can say we went. It was not what we expected. We thought it was a large drug store that had a soda fountain counter and sold a bunch of stuff in the large store along with being a drugstore. Turns out it's a long building with a bunch of souvenir stuff. If that's your thing...there is plenty of it. We would have been disappointed if we drove all the way here just for this, but we were here to see the Badlands National Park. Which was awesome. Wall drugs was not too busy, this is a weather driven tourist stop(trap). We did buy a couple of shirts at the shop at the end on the right side. Better prices. So if you are headed to the Badlands National Park stop by Wall Drug's to say you were there. Wikipedia states its "a road attraction and tourist stop"

A tourist trap if there ever was one! We stopped in after seeing signs for MILES away. Hard not too, just like "The Thing". A lot of knick knacks and clutter. I'm sure kids would like the hundreds of toys or souvenirs. Things that'd probably end up in a land fill. They have several "attractions", like an animatronic T-Rex, and panning for gold. They did have an original Zoltar fortune machine, which I liked. Best go when they open to beast the crowd. We arrived in the evening and wanted dinner but unfortunately the restaurant closed at 530p.

Tons of souvenirs. Pretty large store that has a small shopping mall feel to it. I recommend picking up one of their maps. It helped me a lot. There's a lot to see. Prices are kinda steep. I picked up 1/4 of fudge from the fudge shop for a good price of like $5. Salted caramel dark chocolate, and it was delicious and well packaged. I bought a donut which was good but dry (cake donut so understandable). There's a restaurant but I didn't like the prices. Tourist prices for sure. Of course, you have to get the free ice water. You can't walk around with it, though, as the stores say no food or drink allowed. I didn't buy anything else from here. There's other stores surrounding it to go check out. I ended up getting a shirt at one of those shops as it was much cheaper than in Wall Drug store. Everything in the backyard and the shops behind the backyard that are still part of wall drug were closed for the season. It was disappointing, as apparently the biggest bathroom is back there and I wanted to check it out.
Quite the experience! Free ice water and 5 cent coffee, many unique things to view, and hours of potential wandering. Warning: some in your group may want to buy at least one thing in every shop...and there are many shops. Be aware that, in the off-season, most food services and certain shops shut down at 5. While I would not go out of the way to visit, it is worth stopping after trekking through Badlands or while passing through.

After Badlands, we stopped at Wall Drug. This place is a huge tourist attraction and can be a maze. They still offer free ice water and 5cent coffee! The famous roast beef sandwich topped with gravy and a scoop of mashed potatoes was so delicious. We also got homemade ice cream.

I really enjoyed Wall Drug. I do however, feel it gets a bad rap as a "tourist trap". I do not consider this to be true. 1st of all, it's free. You could spend hours here exploring and enjoying the sights and not pay anything. Plus the water is free and it's only 5 cents for a coffee. There are a couple of places to eat here, which I appreciated after a long afternoon at nearby Badlands National Park. I happily recommend a stop here; if only to quickly check it out for yourself.

Got our free ice water and 5 cent coffee. It's interesting how the town of Wall was built around this drug store. It's very much a tourist location. Food wasn't that good but we ate there. Still a must do spot just to say you did it.

We stayed in Wall during our trip to ND/SD and just had to see what the fuss was all about. We visited Labor Day weekend but the crowds were minimal. The backyard is perfect for kids, complete with a splash pad and a confined environment to explore. The ice cream shop had a short line and friendly service. Clean bathrooms too. If you like a kitchy place to stop and stretch your legs, it’s right off the highway and you won’t regret stopping in.
