Lovely little restaurant in a tennis club. You don't have to be a member to eat there. The food is great and the service is excellent. The view is pretty, with a little pond nearby. It was nice to watch the wildlife. Our server shooed away an iguana that got a little too close, too!

The location is great, but the food was so terrible it merits a 1 star overall. I'll start with the fact one of us threw up when we got home, that's how heavy it was.
The rice tasted like soap, my chicken sandwich did not come out as described on the menu, utensils were the cheapest plastic versions you buy at the supermarke, the wings were tiny in size, the lettuce wraps were literally chicken in teriyaki sauce and lettuce, not to mention it was very hot and placed in a cheap plastic container which contracted with the intense heat (carcinogen). I can't see how anyone would go back to this place to eat actual food. For a drink with some friends, sure... but for a restaurant or dinner experience look elsewhere.

Food was ok with plenty of room for improvement. They need to do something about the birds and the iguanas surrounding you while you eat. Service was superb.

First time here, friendly, they were great! Outdoor restaurant near the tennis courts. Our waiter made coffee and it was delicious. Very laid back. Our waiter was honest with us about the sever and bartender not showing up but we weren’t in a rush. It’s not there fault for them not showing up. I will be back when I come to visit Puerto Rico.

I’ve been pleasantly surprised the last couple of visits to Volea. The service, speed, and food have improved. Josué and Bernie served our table and they were both helpful and attentive to us. Thank you Volea for working to make this a great neighborhood restaurant!
