Lovely cafe on a boat in one of the canals in Leiden. The whole place is surrounded by water and the seats are very comfortable. My friend and I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and salmon sandwich for each one of us. The portions was good and the bread was perfectly soft. The salmon was fresh and tasted delicious with the mayo sauce. Luckily at 1pm on a Saturday, we managed to get a table right away. Around 3pm onwards, the place got quite empty. I went therr three times only for drinking tea or coffee. I always think they have a really good vibe inside, and the employees are kind. But I think their drink menus are not special. It is my favorite cafe in Leiden. It is located in the city center and on the water, and has both an outside and an inside part. Of course, if there is sun, sitting by the water is great. What a cosy place to have a bite to eat. It is not a large restaurant and floats on the canal. Every once in a while, as a boat goes by, you can feel it rise and fall. In the spring and summer there is an added terras. The service was quick, friendly and professional. The food was delicious. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Leiden.
