My daughter loves their GÒI CUÓN and Beef PHÒ BÒ, but I am all about their calm environment where I am typically having Pork CHÀ GIÒ and BÚN BÒ HUÊ with my service animal @831Peep. Not only my favorite Vietnamese Soup, but overall at my favorite restaurant that unlike most Asian spots, is open 7 days a week. Sunday-Thursday 11 a.m.- 7 p.m. and Friday & Saturday until 8 p.m. Happy New Year. I've known Tanya for a long time--she is one of the most generous, kind and beautiful people I know. Her food is always consistent fresh and delicious, and the dishes I've eaten at her restaurant taste just like they did when I first had them 13 years ago in her small restaurant that is now 808 Grinds. I have to admit, I miss that little place, but even then it was always bustling and busy with a happy vibe... just like in her new restaurant today. She's just awesome! Now about my favorite dish... the B3 <seen here in this picture>. This dish is packed with exotic flavors and it is delicious, but IT. IS. SPICY! I just love it and have been eating it all of these years. I just had it yesterday and will have it again tomorrow. I highly recommend it but only if you can tolerate the heat! Fresh house made food, beef pho, lemongrass chicken, vermicelli bowl, rice plate. Nice decor, fast helpful service, it can get busy especially from 11-2pm plan a five to ten minutes wait. They can handle a group of ten at their high table if you call ahead. There are eight tables (besides the large high table). About 45 chairs total, so a small place with a focused menu that is amazing. Here is my review from 2011 (still true in 2023): Great food. Best restaurant in Hillsboro! Family owned and operated, very nice decor, fast friendly service! If you're under the weather, the spicy beef soup will warm your soul. I really had a great first experience here. I ordered to go and the lady helping me was so kind - she brought my son and I glasses of water while we waited. The food was nicely packaged and the food was delicious. I have tried 2 other Vietnamese places in Hillsboro area and this place is in my #1 place for now. It wasn’t too greasy like some places & didn’t upset my stomach. Sometimes other places put so much oil it bothers my stomach. I had the vermicelli bowl (with meat variety) and spring rolls.
