DO NOT BUY!!!!!!
This is the worst service I have ever come across, and for the first time in my adult life I feel the need to leave a review in order to warn others.
My friend and I ordered a few hours ago a gluten free vegetarian pizza from this place. I called in to place the order. The man who answered the phone was clearly in a VERY bad mood, which seemed to be because he was over stressed from having to answer the phone as well as address customer in person at the same time. This in an of itself can be dismissed as a, hopefully, one time humane slip in what is a service based profession.
What’s NOT acceptable by any means, and is the reason I now feel compelled to share this review as a big warning sign to others considering buying from this place is this:
When the delivery guy came within the hour of our order, and the payment was already done by my friend, I opened the pizza box and saw a pizza filled with pepperoni. Being vegetarian this obviously was a mistake I could not ignore. The delivery guy humbly apologised for the mistake, and wanted me to send him the screenshot we had taken of our special vegetarian order (that we had called in an hour before). Hungrily, we accepted this mistake (again, thinking everyone can slip occasionally). After waiting more than 1,5 hours, I decide to call the angry man who received our order. I asked him what had happened and if it would be long before the pizza came. The angry man said with an extremely rude voice that the pizza we ordered had been disregarded by us and that no more pizza was going to come. He then hung up the phone before I had time to answer.
Not only did our dinner we had looked forward to not arrive due to THEIR mistake, but worst of all: the money we payed for it (335kr) was literally thrown out the window.
I would love to expose their lack of credibility and ethics to VG or TV 2 Hjelper Deg. But I don’t want to waste any more time on this. So I hope this review will suffice in providing some level of justice.
My most representative experience with Viva Napoli happened on a snowy winter night a few years ago. It was one of those evenings when I REALLY wanted a pizza! In my life, they happen quite seldom, maybe a couple of times a year. But when I want it, I reeeally want it!
Not bothering to tame the snow storm, I ordered home delivery. After one hour of hungry waiting, the pizza finally arrives. Eagerly I open it, and next to the pizza (which is of closed Calzone type) stands two plastic cups of tomato sauce. As I open the pizza I understand why - there is no tomato sauce INSIDE the pizza. Calling them to complain about this, they just say that "We did send sauce with it!". When I after some discussion make them admit that cold sauce on the side is not really the same thing as sauce on the actual pizza, they excuse themselves and say that I will get my next pizza for free.
Some months later when I get around to claiming my free pizza, that one ironically end up having far to little sauce on it as well.
This being said, I've also had some quite good pizzas from Viva Napoli. But you never know what you are going to get, and therefore they are my last hand choice for pizza on Nesodden.
Awful experience from A to Z. A pizza selection and naming customs suggestive of mental illness. Doughy and undercooked crust, plus the driver explicitly ensured that pizza dressing was inside the delivery bag, which it was not. Tried calling and texting him a minute after he left, but no response. Stay clear!
