What a gem!!! Girls weekend in Fredericksburg and we made a reservation for lunch. We tried a little of everything the burrata is amazing, coconut crab soup, quiche, French dip, the club, bubbles and a yummy dark chocolate dessert. The portions are huge and definitely shareable. The French dip is hands down the best one I’ve ever had, better than Bartlett’s in Austin. It’s a must try. I can’t wait to go back! Excellent upscale dining in fredericksburg. In the basement, try not to get out into the open area. Excellent service! Amazing food! Not to be missed for that special dinner. Great restaurant! The atmosphere was low lit and cozy. Our server was very kind and able to answer all of our questions regarding the menu. I had the braised beef and it was incredible! My friend had the crab soup and salmon tartare and loved it. Would love to go back again! Reservation for lunch based on recommendation from Good Taste with Tanji. Two thumbs up. Service and food were both excellent. We shared the Mediterranean platter and ordered gumbo, the Reuben, and the daily special (lasagna). All the food was delicious (see photos). A full selection of wine and beer available, but oddly very few local choices. Restaurant is downstairs and so be aware you must negotiate a staircase. Bathrooms are upstairs where you also find the retail store filled with interesting things to peruse and buy. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED! This place was great! I do recommend that the staff does mention that the Coca Cola bottles are very tiny and are priced 5$.. Hostess was lovely and the waiter was great and answered all our questions and also gave recommendations! Turkey club was delicious! 👏🏼 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We brought family here from out of the country for lunch--thoroughly enjoyed an appetizer that had crackers, focacia, and several different healthy dips to start and the sparkling lemonade was awesome. My wife and mother-in-law both had quiche, while my brother-in-law had some kind of health power food bowl and I coulfn't resist the pastrami on rye w saurkraut made from brussel sprouts--amazing adaptation by the way. Huge portions all-around, the atmosphere and vibe was really cool, and my wife made me promise to come back for supper someday soon. I really liked the jazz-feel music playing in this place. Service was outstanding. I really can't find fault with the place outside of suggesting smaller portions, but hey--this is Texas. We'll be back. Such a beautiful place with amazing food! We had the Grilled Lamb Rack and Braised Akaushi Beef. Wow! Melts in your mouth and paired it with the perfect red wine...Hess. We then shopped in their beautiful store with very helpful staff. Only hiccup was we felt a bit rushed by the staff to finish but not a reason to not return when we visit Fredericksburg again. OMG!! This food is SO GOOD!! I had the veggie quiche and asked for some bread too. She brought me toasted chibatta bread with butter. Wow! Delicious. The quiche crust is so light and flaky it melts in my mouth. The asparagus is perfect. The salad is lightly tossed with some kind of subtle oil, the perfect amount, not drowning in it like most restaurants. All the flavors work so well together. I've found my new favorite Fredericksburg restaurant! PS: the cookies are amazing. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
