Really surprised by their bagels!!! They are amazing. It’s kinda hard to eat the egg sandwiches but if you don’t mind a little mess go for it. Cookies were amazing as well- Banana Oat Chip. Gotta wait outside for your food, but not that bad unless it’s busy and cold. Food: 5

These might be the best bagels below Washington St! If you are a NY or NJ transplant who misses authentic bagels, this is one of the only 3 places in Philly I recommend. Their bagels have a rustic, homemade feel to them, and a really good balance of bready and chewy, especially if you like a little extra chew like me. I had the most amazing time doing their bagel class! If you have a chance it’s a great time and very educational class to take on a week night. They are run by the couple who owns it and they answer all your questions with so much enthusiasm no matter how random.

All of your bagels are delicious- but please keep the Bear breakfast sandwich on the menu forever. I'm pregnant and have been hating all food but when I tried this sandwich I ate it in 30 seconds. You guys already have the best bagels and pastries too! <3

The bagels here are absolutely excellent, a bit pricey but worth it.. what I will say, count your bagels.. I’ve done a 1/2 dozen multiple times and this is the second time I was shorted a bagel, which is prompting me to write a review. I did overhear the owner say that she just hired someone new .. but again, for the price, I expected to get what I pay for. Lastly, my review is so low because any interaction I’ve had with the owner, she’s just been completely rude, not only to me but other customers and even sometimes the way she talks to her staff. It’s not surprising every time I got there the staff seems to have changed, she uses everyone as her personal doormat. I hope someone in South Philadelphia opens a decent bagel spot so I can give my business to them.
