Excellent food, excellent service. Very high end restaurant. Great for a date or family get together which is what I had dinner there for. My three uncles and my father had a wonderful dinner night before last. Very glad my father's assistant was able to join as well... Great memory! This restaurant will go out of their way to ensure your experience is amazing. Food is excellent. Want a customized dish or dessert? Let them know ahead of time and they will prepare it for you! Staff is always amazing. The setting is superb. If you want to experience dining out like you never have, go here. We had an amazing time celebrating my mother in laws 80th, Jason our server was fantastic very knowledgeable and friendly the staff was on point! But they’re always on point. Different from the Galleria location... the Woodland's location is 'on the water.' Lively atmosphere, and the addition of Dry Ice to the beverage and shrimp coctail was a nice touch! Service: Exceptional Menu: wide variety of choices - fish, meat. vegetarian, etc We went a couple weeks back to celebrate a special occasion and enjoyed our time. The food was awesome. Missed a picture of the carrot cake which was super sweet but tasty. Special call-outs was crab cake, lobster bisque and seared tuna. First time at this location did not disappoint! Wonderful attentive service from the friendly and very professional staff. Atmosphere was great and got even better when they opened up the curtains!! Maybe it's just me but a view of the water while consuming seafood just makes it more authentic. Food was delicious as expected, from the fresh stone crab claws, tasty lobster bisque and of course the of the menu South African cold water lobster tail was superb!! My husband and I dined here for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. At first, we felt pretty special because numerous people congratulated us on our anniversary (they put little gems on your table so people know that you’re celebrating). But I was pretty disappointed that they did not allow us to sit on the patio outside, because the weather was incredible and it would’ve made our night that much more special and secluded. It was actually one of the reasons we decided to eat on Hughes Landing. I was extremely disappointed in the lack of service from our waitress, she was inattentive and I had to ask the manager if to take our order and ask another server for more water after waiting a while (twice). We had heard great things about the mac & cheese here, but again we were disappointed to not find it on the menu. The manager found out about our request and spoke with the chef to see if he could put together a mac & cheese for us. He did, and it was unbelievably delicious! This customer service was over the top and we appreciated it. When the food came out — we ordered the surf & turf, the appetizer meatballs, mac n cheese, and asparagus. We were also given a free carrot cake for our anniversary, it was huge- the photo doesn’t do it justice. I didn’t get a photo of the meatballs, but everything was incredible. The food redeemed the poor service we received from our waitress and the service from the manager is why I’m giving Truluck’s 3 stars. If you’re going to pay over $100 per person for a meal, you need to have more wait staff that can attend to guests in a timely manner. This is my biggest complaint. First timer…. On our birthday weekend!!!! We were not disappointed. The service.... The ambience... The FOOD... WAS AWESOME!!!! We enjoyed a few drinks at the bar and then we were seated in the main restaurant. Our buddy, IVY, Took great care of us. She delivered fully with her excellent service and we truly appreciated having her. We had fun as we engaged with her and she topped the night with the a stunning Baked Alaska.
