Small town Texas BBQ - What could be better? The food was all good and satisfied my taste for BBQ. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The prices were also good for the amount of food. Excellent chopped beef sandwiches, with polite staff behind the counter. A very clean restaurant, and restrooms. Stop in and give them a try. I'll quote the lady that waited on me when I told her that I've been wanting to stop in every time I drove by the past couple years. She welcomed me and said I quote "You'll Be Back " That's confidence and she's absolutely right We will make this a stopping point in our travels. This is an awesome little kept secret. We wanted BBQ after church and just pulled it up on maps. I'm so glad we came in to eat. You get lots of food for a decent price. Everyone is down to earth and helpful. The bathrooms are super clean too. If you like small, family, feel good places, this it!! We will be back next week! Oh my Jesus the food here is delicious! Please bless this family with more business than they can handle! I had brisket, pulled pork, and turkey. All of it was moist, tender, and yummy. Great customer service, very friendly staff, convenient location. We got better than finger licking good BBQ sandwiches and two loaded baked potatoes. Absolutely delicious!!! Very generous portions. We've eaten at Triple R BBQ multiple times over the years that we have visited this area of Texas. Several great meats as well as several good sides. I rarely miss eating here because it is good, but I honestly can't think of anything that I think makes it stand out from other BBQ restaurants. It's all just good and worth making your meal stop in Whitewright. If you have room after eating, I like that they have desserts available such as pecan pie, peach or apple cobbler, and banana pudding. I had a brisket sandwich, baked beans, coleslaw, cheesy potatoes and of course pecan pie . The brisket was fantastic extremely tender just falling apart and had a great fat to meat ratio on the sandwich! The beans were very meaty tasting and the coleslaw wasn’t overly sweet leaned more to the vinegary side which complimented the fatty meat very well. The cheesy potatoes were good in flavor but I feel like needs another texture added like bread crumbs just my opinion. Lastly the pecan pie was absolutely flawless and still warm!!
