I haven’t written a review in a while but had to for this place! Stopped here on a whim passing through and the whole experience was fantastic. Such friendly and personable wait staff, adorable little shop, and incredible food. We had the crabby fries, a crab cake special, oysters grilled and raw, the clam chowder in a grilled bread bowl, and the trout special. Food was all top notch- I’ve never had a bread bowl grilled like that before! Wish we’d had room for dessert! We will definitely return if we come through again!
I visited twice while in the area. Once for dinner and once for lunch. I had the fish and chips for dinner. Fish was a little bland for me, but pretty good after little tarter sauce and malt vinegar. Fries were good. For lunch, I had the cioppino. Very good and flavorful. A little pricey though at $38 for the cioppino and about $20 for fish and chips. Food was all excellent- oysters, seafood, fries. The fish and chips came with 5 pieces of fish! Service was great and the atmosphere was charming with a very nice little gift shop full of local wares. We were very pleased we found this cute place for a great meal during our travels to the redwoods. The staff were wonderful. They let me put a special twist on a classic latte, and it was perfect. In addition to tasting fantastic, it was presented beautifully -almost too pretty to drink! The store and restaurant are super cute. We loved how sweet all the staff were, not only to us, but each person/group that came in. One of my fave places in Trinidad! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
