Best pizza in town!! We picked this spot on a whim when we first moved to Middletown in 2019 after moving all day. We’ve tried every other pizza shop in town over the past few years and nothing compares. Also the best customer service out of every place in town! Never get a bad meal from Tony’s! I live in Middletown and I am so happy we found Tony's pizzeria. Service was great, food was ready within the time they said, and it is pretty darn tasty. Definitely sizes that leave you with leftovers. My go to sub and pizza place!! This place is so unacceptable I would never eat from here and you shouldn’t either. When I walked in I thought it was a nice and welcoming scene. But then I ordered a slice of pizza. The man handling my pizza didn’t even use gloves or wash his hands. He got right off his phone and then touched my pizza. And then got upset at me when I asked why he isn’t being sanitary… he then said to me that just because the oven was at high temperature he doesn’t require himself to use gloves. What kind of sense is that??! Another worker of the pizzeria also defended his dull actions. I would gladly not come back here. This is not the pizza spot in Middletown/highspire area to go to. Hubby and I went there tonight for dinner. Very nice people that work there, absolutely delicious food and very huge portions. Huge huge portions. We got a gift card for my brother for his 50th birthday because that’s his favorite pizza joint. I see why. That place is awesome. I rated this pizza place a 1 because first off having a Blue Lives Matter flag up on the wall signals oppression of people of color. Support whatever you want but that's supporting a uniform. I will not teach my children and family separation. Business should not mix with opinions, be neutral post Italian and Mediterranean things that could actually give it a good atmosphere. I felt like I was in a 90s arcade here. I ordered a hero and the quality was so bad I took 2 bites and threw it away. The pizza was overly greasy. The pizza was very bland, regular slices had no flavor. My wife ordered a wrap and it was just so plain the chicken and the buffalo sauce was literally not hot. These guys just stole my business from any other pizza joint in town. Anyone rating this place less than 5 stars doesn't know what real Italian food is. Meat Stromoli was AMAZING! Homemade sub rolls are huge, perfectly baked. Possibly the best veal parmesan sub I've ever eaten, not processed. Breaded mushrooms, cooked to perfection. I won't order from anyone else from here on out. Very good food, had me an Italian sub toasted , the sub was nice and warm to my liking, and a slice of buffalo chicken pizza . Will recommend for quick bite to eat
